We have stayed at Bahia Mar several times now. The host maintained this Condo in great condition. It is very well kept. The set up was perfect for all of us. The weather did not cooperate so we spent more time than planned in the unit and everyone had a bedroom and bathroom. The table was big enough for meals and playing games. The oven door handle was broken and maintenance came to fix it within a reasonable amount of time. Things you might want to keep in mind: this is a 3rd floor condo with no elevator and there’s no one to help you with your luggage, groceries, etc.; there are no supplies and you can only pick up a few basics at the check-in center during certain hours; the oven door only opens partially because it hits the cabinets under the sink; the overhead lighting in the bedrooms does not work and there are limited places to plug in the one bedside lamp; windows do not open in this condo, there’s no fresh air exchange; they leave an envelope for tips for maid services, yet you do not get this service - you must be fully self-sufficient. ##### Peggy Y. This was our first time in a condo for vacation and not in a regular hotel. Having a whole kitchen with everything you need to cook and separate bedrooms is amazing. Everything was clean.
