"Everything was as I had expected. Beautiful ocean views. The rooms were beautiful and big. The pictures were right on spot. We did not need any cooking equipment. They had everything you could possibly need. The outside was absolutely beautiful. Only a minute walk to beach or swimming pool. I did my first ever snorkeling. It didn’t cost a thing. They have beach chairs umbrellas ice chest. What ever you need to be comfortable for the beach including towels. "

"best possible place to stay. Hale O Honu is absolutely unique. The house is outfitted with everything you’ll need. There’s plenty of extra snorkel masks, fins, and shoes. We spent mornings swimming and snorkeling, mid day touring the island or hiking, then great evenings at home watching the sunsets before tribal council. Most mornings there were sea turtles on the beach sunning in the back yard. I cannot recommend highly enough. Location, location, location. "

"This Kihei property exceeded all our expectations! The location is absolutely perfect - right on a beautiful beach with breathtaking views of the ocean and neighboring islands. The photos don't do justice to watching palm trees sway against a star-filled night sky or enjoying stunning sunsets from the porch.The condo is situated in an ideal area of Maui, with convenient access to restaurants, shops, and activities while still feeling peaceful and private. The beach access is fantastic, with a perfect mix of sand and volcanic rocks creating a picturesque shoreline.Amenities were plentiful and exactly as described. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Communication with the host was excellent - responsive, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect Maui getaway. "Coldwell banker was fantastic to communicate with, Makena Surf property grounds and amenities are wonderful, location on two beautiful beaches can't be beat and the view from the kitchen/main living area/patio of this condo is fantastic. Condo could use some refreshing but didn't detract much from our stay on beautiful Maui. "

"Great unit, very clean, had plenty of supplies available to us. Would have liked to have had an upright vacuum so I could have vacuumed the carpeted areas. Great spot!"
