A ladder from the dock into the water would be helpful for swimming. It's an older house that has been renovated, and some of the fixtures such as the stovetop are dated. However, the property was quiet, clean and overall appeared exactly as advertised. The location on Colpoy's Bay was beautiful and our kids enjoyed swimming, fishing and kayaking from the dock (we brought our own inflatable kayak). The house is in a quiet, affluent area, and the neighbors all seemed very pleasant. Overall it was a great experience. A couple of minor gripes we had were that the front hedges needed to be trimmed back as they were encroaching on the walkway and the hot tub looked a little cloudy when we first arrived. However, when we mentioned our concern about the water, the manager literally came out within minutes to adjust the chemicals. Check in and out were a breeze, and Grey Bruce Cottages promptly returned our security deposit after we left.
