  • Sandy Trail Lodge is a tastefully decorated cottage blending new modern amenities with an original rustic lodge vibe.

    Rent this centrally located 3 bed, 1 bath, sleeps 6 cottage for your next family vacation. Walking distance to downtown and only 50 steps to the world renowned Sauble Beach! Ideal for your next family vacation.

    The property is very private and surrounded by tall cedar hedges.

    Inside is fully furnished, open concept, a large well equipped kitchen (with dishwasher), treated potable water, AC, Smart TV, high speed WIFI internet, gas fireplace and 4 piece modern bathroom. Linens are not provided.

    Outside there is a large front deck with tiki bar and fridge, side patio, yard and outdoor fire pit with plenty of seating, natural gas BBQ, outdoor cooling shower and is very private.

Amazing place close to the beach and strip in Sauble

Really great cabin. Everything you need is already there. A VERY short walk to the beach and the main strip. Host was very helpful and quick for response. Everything was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying again!

Perfect Little Cottage

This was the perfect cottage for our family of 4. Location was great. Only a few steps from the beach and downtown area. Tim was a great host. Always communicated with us and made sure we were have a wonderful time. I would completely suggest this cottage to my family and friends if they are looking for something in Sauble Beach. At the Sandy Trail in Sauble Beach!!

It was very relaxing and enjoyable time with convenience to all of Sauble and within walking distance of the beach, the local shopping and dining. The neighbors and occupants of the local cottages were all family oriented. The cottage offered all of the amenities someone would want in a rental property at the beach. A short stay after Labour Day

The cottage was lovely. The location was great. Close to the beach and to the main drag. The owner was quick to reply to messages. The big issue for us was and still hasn't been resoved, was VRBO charging us in American funds, instead of Canadian which we had assumed. We live in Canada and were renting a Canadian property, why would that even be an issue? We're hoping this will be resolved soon.

Easy access

Tim was definitely a host that went above and beyond, he assisted with a minor change that made his listing wheelchair accessible and was a pleasure to bump into while out exploring Sauble Beach. This unit is on ground level and only has a minor bump to get onto the deck and the rest of the building. It was perfect for using a manual wheelchair inside and out! Thanks!

Cute Cottage

This was our first experience with renting a cottage and it was absolutely perfect!! Tim was an Amazing host! Right from the beginning with booking his communications with us was above and beyond! He had even text me once we were in to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything! The cottage was so welcoming when we arrived with the lights on low and the local radio station on to welcome us!! Pictures of the cottage really couldn’t do it justice as it was even more beautiful and cozy than we had anticipated!! The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and more and although we only stayed two nights both my partner and I wish that we could have had the time in our schedules to stay longer. Thank you Tim for everything!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Ideal rental experience

Could not have asked for a more perfect spot for our girls weekend !!! Looks even better than the pictures:) Check-in was seamless, and the place was in immaculate condition (with ample kitchen appliances available!). The location is unbeatable: across the street from the beach, an 8-10 minute walk over to the main street. The fire pit outside with marshmellow roasting sticks made for a great campfire night. Patio set-up is great for entertaining, and the umbrella was big enough that all 5 of us comfortably spent the afternoon outside while it was raining. Internet was strong, tv included an hdmi cord so we had no issues connecting our laptop for a movie night. The real jewel of the rental, however, is the owner, Tim. Tim was so beyond helpful both in the weeks leading up to our stay and throughout the weekend. He really went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience, would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Tim!!

At the beach!

Check in was so smooth and easy, and the property manager is very friendly and helpful! The cottage is laid out perfectly with everything you need and is very close to the beach. We loved the outdoor space set up with firepit, seating areas, and outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. Very happy with our stay!
