This is a clean well kept cabin. It was not as private as we would have liked. There’s a cabin about 30-40 yards away in clear view and a small farm on the other side of the steam that was noisy at times (cars reving, people yelling, dogs barking). The hot tub was nice but over chlorinated (it was burning our eyes). The cabin is well stocked with the basic needs. Overall this is a very nice cabin. The stream is a beautiful view. The location is convenient. The state parks are near by.
The cabin was very nice, and clean-spotless actually. Hot tub was great. The only thing was the beds were too soft for us...mattresses probably need replaced, or it's just us-we like a firmer mattress. So we didn't sleep well. But no other issues.

Not what we expected
Check in was easy because the door was left unlocked. First thing was the smell that hit us. A half burned leftover log was in the fireplace that smelled overwhelmingly bad. Making our way around there was dust and a grimy feeling on the beds. Luckily we bring covers to put over the beds and our own blankets just in case. The third night we lost power for a few hrs which is not a fault of the property owner however it would’ve been nice to know we wouldn’t have water if the power went out. We packed up just in case it didn’t come back on and once we started cleaning we noticed there were cigarette butts left in the trash can. We continued to get knats and flying ants and one wasp we found in the shower after our son used it. Thankfully he wasn’t stung. We opened curtains for light and realized one window is left open for a cord leading outside so we started checking the rest of the windows and all of them are unlocked with no way of locks even on them. Again this part being no fault of the owner but we weren’t able to spend much time outside in the afternoon because the neighbor across the way was either yelling at their dog, their dog was barking or they were blaring very vulgar rap music that we could hear all the words too. I wouldn’t say this spot is secluded if that’s what you’re looking for. One thing I forgot to communicate with the management on was what appears to be water issues on the bathroom wall. It was bubbled all over and clearly had water in it.

Wonderful Retreat
The cabin was a great short stay getaway. It had everything we needed and convenient location to Hocking Hills State Park. We would definitely stay there again.
Place was excellent and easy to find. Only downside, description was misleading, 6 acre lot gives the impression that this is secluded, not that there is a cabin right next door. Driveway had a terrible blind spot trying to pull out from the steep drop off on an angle, need to remove some shrubbery and trees to make it safe.
Great little cabin with a stream running across the front yard. Nice layout with everything needed for your stay. My only complaint would be the floor are a little creaky, but I would book this cabin again!
We really enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of our stay.

Wonderful winter getaway
It was very cozy and well maintained. They plowed the roads and left us wood for the fireplace. We enjoyed the place very much.

Nice cabin but it was not as private as we would have liked it to be
The cabin is overall clean and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and a variety of spices. The “cooking oil” was a near empty can of canola oil spray. I recommend bringing your own oil. The hot tub was nice but over chlorinated (it was burning our eyes). The steam was a nice view. It is semi-private. The next cabin is about 30-40 yards away in clear view. There’s also a small farm on the other side of the steam that can be loud (cars reving, people yelling, and dogs barking)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on doing it again!
The cabin was perfect. We had beautiful weather too. It's always something we look forward to each year!
The place is beautiful and peaceful. Everything was clean. Only thing we didn’t care for was the water odor, it was not rusty and I realize it is well water but the iron smell was very strong. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay! Very relaxing and the hot tub was very clean and relaxing

Quiet mountain area to enjoy
Check-in and check-out are a breeze. It’s nestled in a peaceful mountain area, perfect for nature lovers. The last 100 meters of the road are a bit bumpy, but it’s worth it for the tranquility.

Magical!
What a fantastic stay for my family and myself at Crosscreek! A beautiful log cabin surrounded by snow for our birthday visit in December with a relaxing hot tub on the porch, comfortable furnishings and fireplace, roomy kitchen and dining area, and picturesque surroundings. Easy drive to Logan, OH, to visit the winery and brewery also. I slept soundly both nights! The sweetest surprise of a Christmas tree was provided, too. Very thankful my husband booked this property, and I would return!

Amazing Cabin and Property
Loved the real wood and rustic feel of the cabin, while still having all modern amenities. My only complaint is that the cabin advertised Starlink, but the provided pw never worked, and I believe that is because Starlink almost never connected. Also, the hot tub buttons were worn off and barely worked. These are extremely small and unimportant issues in the grand scheme of things, and the cabin was lovely to stay in overall.

We expected to have cell service and WiFi as listed due to needing it to navigate this location. However, it never existed. They falsely advertise having it and insist that it is a utility instead of a necessity. They lie about maintenance crews and that it was unknown to them that it was an issue. We spent our time on the side of the road trying to communicate with them asking for a solution but none was offered. We will never book with this company again. We left early and they refused to refund any days that we could not safely remain at this location. Massive flooding happened in this region and if we remained at this cabin, we would not have known due to a lack of being able to connect to the outside world. If we knew that it did not have the ability to communicate, we never would have stayed here. The owner was unwilling to offer a refund, fix the wifi, or offer an equivalent cabin. We are seeking legal guidance.
