"The hotel was mostly great! Good location - close to chania without being right in the old town. We had a hire car so we were able to park right on the street outside usually. The staff could be a bit friendlier, I found some of them to be somewhat rude and dismissive of our concerns. The air conditioning needs maintenance. We raised it wasn’t working which was basically dismissed by the receptionist. She checked it herself and made her own confirmation that it was fine?? The air con literally had an error code saying it needed maintenance. We had it set at 16 degrees the entire time and I can tell you did not get below 21/22 at any point. This meant it took ages for the room to cool down. This was a bit disappointing because the rest of the hotel was good"

"The room was very nice and clean the staff friendly. The only issue was the restaurant Teatro was hit or miss. Food was fine, sometimes only warm, but service was sporadic. Sometimes friendly sometimes not attentive. We didn’t understand why they asked us our room number. It only confused us because we thought they wanted to charge the room. But that wasn’t the case which was fine because we wanted to pay cash. Just didn’t understand why they needed that."

"We visited this villa for a family celebration as 3 couples, it was everything described and more and was large enough to everyone to have their own personal space if needed! The attention to detail was exceptional with everything you needed to make a perfect holiday. It was a short drive (about 1.5k) to marathi for a few restaurants, this could be walked but the roads are not lit and very hilly. Vicky the cleaner was lovely and did an excellent job and we even had a beautiful warm home made sweet pie delivered for breakfast one morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking that touch of luxury for a perfectly relaxing holiday"

"We had a really brilliant time at this villa. The space is fantastic and it is definitely the best equipped house we have ever visited. The pool / outdoor area is beautiful and Alex could not do enough for us. There are a few very nice tavernas very close by and the Roman ruins at Aptera are also within (slightly further) walking distance. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!"

"Na een hartelijke ontvangst hebben wij met ons gezin met 4 tieners 5 dagen van deze prachtige plek kunnen genieten. De villa zelf is qua inrichting klassiek, maar goed schoon en lekkere zeepjes, shampoo, douchegel en bodylotion liggen overal klaar.De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om te koken, voorzien van oven, grote koelkast en vriezer met ijsblokjes.De tuin met het grote en diepe zwembad, het gazon en de gehele buitenruimte zijn fantastisch, wel vooral grotere kinderen geschikt.Kreta heeft veel katten rondlopen zo ook hier. Wij vonden dit gezellig, maar mensen die bang zijn wellicht niet.Verder is een huurauto aan te raden, want mooie stranden, kloosters en Chania zijn goed met de auto bereikbaar.Een plek om van te genieten en wellicht om terug te keren!"
