LIke a vacation home
This was the third time that we stayed here while hiking around the Sonora area. This tells you how peaceful and nice this property is. Didn't see any deer this time. LOL But did see 3 wild turkeys in the morning.

Peaceful Getaway Spot
This studio apartment was perfect for our two night stay in Sonora! Very close to the family we would be visiting! We enjoyed all the thoughtful amenities, such as fresh fruit, chocolate kisses, a secluded balcony and comfy recliners. The place is well-taken care of. Will definitely book again. Thank you.😄

Weekend Getaway
The pictures of the listing are accurate. Really appreciated the added touch of coffee and fruit/oatmeal in the condo. We enjoyed our time and loved seeing deer and wild turkey on the property. It's 45 mins to Murphys and about 30 mins to Dodge ridge. You can go wine tasting and skiing all in a long weekend.

Beautiful place to stay that is very quiet. Woke up to 3 deer walking around. Loved all the games and books. Loved the popcorn machine! The host even had bananas, apples and oatmeal for us. Kerrigan machine and coffee. Will definitely come back.

Comfortable and quiet
Unfortunately we weren't able to book more days, but for the time we were able to have the stay here it was great after a long flight. Everything is accurate to the photos. The amenities are plenty and more than we got the opportunity to use. We had a nice dinner at the standard pour not to far from this booking location. I do recommend this restaurant. Thank you for lending your place for other to enjoy.

Relax in the forest!
This location is very quiet! The porch was beautiful in the mornings and evenings. Loved looking through the vast library also!

Second stay is still a charm
We love this secluded retreat that we stayed again while in the Sonora area. This is the best place to relax and unwind. We would book again when visiting Sonora in the future.

The property is nicely accommodated and very quiet / private. Everything we needed was available. We truly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we had to cut it short one night due to the impending storm ⛈. We’re looking forward to rebooking again in better weather. Thank you for your hospitality!

This was one of the best place we have ever stayed at. she made us feel so welcome .
We had a fantastic time this was our 34 year anniversary and my husband is going through Kemo.we need to gets way we are glad we got to come here. We saw deers,wild turkey.and lots of stars. We highly recommend coming here

Amazing property and amazing hostess!
The name of this listing Wooded Retreat lives up to its name. Quiet, peaceful and rustic. Deers and wild turkeys are your neighbors. Adriana was very patience and answered any questions that we had. The dwelling was tastefully decorated for rest and fun. Lots of games, lots of books and lots of streaming options. It was a hot day when we arrived and Adriana made sure the A/C was on so it was cool inside. There was Hershey's Kisses bedside for your chocolate fix. LOL. The kitchen had everything you need to cook if you so chooses. We had an amazing stay at her wooded retreat. We even had a chance to see Adriana and she was as nice and friendly as we imagined. We definitely would stay here again when we visit the area.

Very nice place
A lovely roomy one bedroom. Adriana was most accommodating and answered questions promptly. It was really nice that she had some fruit and chocolates, coffee, and oatmeal packets for us as well as a popcorn machine we took advantage of. We only stayed one night as just too far from Yosemite on windy roads.

Relaxing getaway!
We had a wonderful time at the Wooded Retreat. It had all that we could have asked for - and more that we couldn't even use! The owner was extremely responsive and she provides several small amenities which add a very nice touch. We saw deer every day we were there and lots of turkeys too! We hope to come back soon.

Peaceful, clean and wooded
From beginning to end this was a wonderful experience. We wanted a place between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite Park to call home for a few days. This was perfect! The only drawback we had was totally our fault as the stairs were hard to maneuver after one of our ankles was twisted enjoying the sequoia grove. The hurt ankle caused us to not get out for our next day hike. Instead we enjoyed the wildlife from the balcony....bees around their amazing hive, deer, squirrels and turkeys. Everything we needed was provided. Even air conditioning that beat the 100 degree weather. We enjoyed an added bonus of some snacks and breakfast items. Our hosts graciously shared their property while giving us complete privacy. If this wasn’t a once in a lifetime trip, we’d return to this property without hesitation.

It was definitely the best AirBnB that I have stayed at. Highly recommend.
The overall experience was absolutely lovely, I felt right at home when I entered the room. I recommend this room for anyone who is trying to take a weekend off and just relax. Definitely stay for as many nights as you can afford. The experience was more than I could have ever hoped.

The perfect weekend getaway!
This was the perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy a weekend getaway! Lovely surroundings and very inviting feel. Adriana goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. We came for a country western music festival at the local casino, but there’s lots do and see in the area. I recommend this place to anyone needing to get away and relax!

A perfectly quiet place in the woods to relax
We really loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get away for a relaxing weekend. It's super cute and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Bring some food and drinks, grab a book from the amazing library, then settle in for some peace and quiet. If reading isn't your thing there are numerous board games, cards, darts, and of course the pool table to enjoy. I honestly wouldn't change a thing about it. In addition to the amenities the location is great too! It's about an hour from Yosemite so it's easy to make this your base then go to Yosemite for day trips. Looking forward to doing that on our next trip!
