Step back in time with modern comfort at Sonoma Retro '49—a beautifully restored cottage blending vintage charm with wine country luxury. Nestled in the heart of Sonoma, this family-friendly haven offers stylish convenience, spacious living, and kid-approved amenities, making it the perfect launchpad for vineyard adventures and cozy nights in. Perfect host!
The cottage was just redone and it is great. Great updates while still keeping the vintage cottage appeal. The outdoor space was awesome especially the garage barn/entertainment space. We loved watching movies out there on the warm summer nights. We stayed for a month and it really felt like home. The location is excellent being so close to the Square, restaurants and shops. We wanted to stay longer but has to get back to SF as school was starting. The owners couldn’t have been nicer. Five stars all around We will rent it again
We rented this house for a month in October, 2025 to visit my daughter, who lives in Sonoma with her spouse, 2 toddlers and a newborn. This house was our perfect retreat. The cottage was walkable to both stores, restaurants, and the Town Plaza. Every detail was carefully thought out by the owner making it an inviting, clean, bright, comfortable place to relax. The barn/gameroom and fire pit were an extra treat. The ping pong table got a lot of use . We picked lemons & persimmons from the yard. Stacie was the perfect host, being both available and attentive. A perfect place to take advantage of the town of Sonoma. We hope to stay here again on future visits. A great home away from home!
I've rented a lot of homes around the world and it's always sight unseen. That's just the way it works unless you live next door to the home you rent. Pictures and reviews help. This rental home was more than expected, in both accommodations and customer service. The hosts were hands off but quick to respond when reached out to. We stayed here for one month. My mom and dad were there for the entire 30 days and my sisters and I rotated in/out over the four weeks. We all have good things to say about the property. This time of year was perfect as weather allowed us to use the outdoor space and there's plenty of it and the "game barn" for a fun time.
