This hotel is a mixed bag, at least it was for us. To make a longer story short, card keys didn’t work even with multiple tries. That happens, but lots of ants in the bathroom was more disturbing. First room carpet was dirty and furniture is minimal. On the other hand, we appreciated Shelton who solved the problems. The site, restaurant and lobby are very nice. Rooms need renovation.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room had numerous insects, and when we contacted the front desk, they sent someone to spray insecticide. The curtains were extremely dirty, and the bed was much smaller than expected. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The following morning, we requested a different room due to the poor conditions. However, the staff initially refused and told us we would have to pay extra. We explained that the room we received looked nothing like the pictures advertised when we booked. We insisted on speaking with a manager, we were told manger is not available before Tuesday. After lots of demanding, they finally move us to a room with a larger bed. Although the second room was somewhat cleaner, the curtains were still filthy and covered with oil stains. There was also no sofa. Overall, the cleanliness, customer service, and room conditions were unacceptable. The hotel did not meet our expectations or match what was advertised. We were extremely disappointed with our experience and would not recommend staying here.

The main building is nice, but our two rooms were in another building and it was just ok, not nearly the same quality as the main building. Very disappointing.

The hotel is understaffed. Room service trays and pool service items were not cleaned up (sometimes for all day) in a timely manner. All staff should always help to pickup stuff from hallways and pool area. Food and service was excellent but rather expensive. I will return but figure out ways to not spend so much dining.

Unfortunately you have raised the parking fee to $59.00 a night. If you add the amenity fees that is an additional $100.00 a day. If I was here for vacation as apposed to work that might work but it is still very high. The bathtub was slow to drain so I stood in 5-6 inches of water as I showered. My other issue is that nobody answered the phone for room service either day that I was there. I like this hotel but I feel that it has priced me out and the issues seem to be growing. I have stayed here at least 4 times. I come to LA for disaster relief 2-3 times a month but I need to look elsewhere.

Overall, it was a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was not included, but we received a daily food and beverage credit that could be used at the restaurant or bar. Parking was valet only and there was an additional charge for it.

We had move rooms because the shower wasn’t working. The staff was super helpful and kind and even discounted the bill a bit. Was just disappointed that we had to move from 2 queens to 2 doubles but thankful to have been able to move.

The rate was good, but the hotel definitely felt like it needs a renovation. From the room to the hallways, everything looked a bit worn and tired. The staff was nice, but the outdated interior made it hard to fully enjoy the stay. With some updates, this place could be much better.

I liked my king Size bed room, It was very roomy and somewhat dated. There was no microwave to reheat food and the safe in the room was broken. What I didn't like although I was near the pool and the gym, they were not connected to the main lobby. If you are on the 3 or 4th floors, you will be located in a different location which made it not so easy for me to walk outside down the walkway to either walk alone the driveway to the main lobby or let the attendant know on duty or if there was not an attendant, you will have to call the front desk to let them know you will need a ride which is a courtesy 24 hours around the clock. If you wish to have a balcony make sure that is in your selection. I missed that completely. I enjoyed the breakfast and lunch/dinner. If I had to say here again, I would make sure I stayed in the main building I guess it would be floors 1 and 2. Bathroom clean, bed comfortable.

Luxe is my favourite hotel in LA. It is away from the hustle and is very quiet, clean and homely. The rooms are huge and the pool is great for a quiet drink or family time.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. The only issue for us was that both my husband and I use CPAP machines to sleep. The electric plug ins were not conveniently located. I could plug my machine in but my husband could not use his CPAP machine because there was no plug in by his side of the bed.

The location could not be more perfect! It is only five miles from Rodeo Drive with minimal traffic. The grounds are gorgeous. The smell when we you enter the building is just heaven. The room is spacious with modern decor. I don’t know how anyone gave this hotel 2/5 stars. I would stay here again and again!!
