My room was perfect. Windows are good thickness. Black out shades did their job. I was by the pool but not distracted by any noise from it between the good windows and the AC. I left before breakfast was served because of an early flight, but it sounded promising when described it the day before. It was a very comfortable bed and room.
The location is very convenient and the staff were all very helpful. I'd stay here again for sure.

I've stayed on the Riverwalk more times than I can count. But I'll count Valencia as the number one stay. It's beautiful, it smells amazing (not something you typically say about a hotel), and it was my favorite location. Close enough to the Riverwalk fun fun (just a short walk), and far enough away to be really peaceful and quiet. We had the courtyard view, which we LOVED. HIGHLY recommend The Valencia.

"I liked how close restaurants, shops and alamo are. I did not like how outdated the hotel is , the doors are delayed in opening, the elevator is slow and musty it smells.
