"This hotel was a good stop for the price but the air conditioner put out a foul odor. Once we turned it off the odor went away. The floor was not clean. Our socks were dirty walking on it. The room was nice otherwise. The price was great."

"We had a wonderful stay! The property setting is really beautiful with the sunsets, easy access to the water, and a lovely swing to sit and watch the water. It was nice to sit outside and have coffee in the morning. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and exploring the area, including the Pocosin Lake National Wildlife Refuge. We drove out about 40 mins to the Pungo Unit of the refuge and saw a few bears! The house itself is comfortable and well-stocked for enjoying meals at home. We did try The Depot and enjoyed their subs and pizza. There is a Food Lion about 10 minutes away as well. A great place to sit back, relax and enjoy!"

"Everything was good overall. Had to bring basic necessities which wasn’t convenient for me traveling. Was told to bring paper towels and TP but couldn’t find shower towels anywhere? Neighbors are friendly and let me use the dock since the lower dock was being redone. Host was responsive to any message almost instantly. Pet friendly, clean. All in all, I would stay again. "

"Waterside Resort is an excellent choice for your stay to the Edenton area. Great location on the Albemarle Sound. Very clean and spacious condo. Fully equipped kitchen and lovely view from our unit. We enjoyed every evening with a cocktail at the fire pit to watch the sunset. Very friendly staff. We will return."

"We had a perfect stay. This little bungalow is a is a jewel. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to some of their vinyl collection, watched birds and sailboats, took the very short drive to Edenton’s historic district for a tour, dinner. We will want to return to this wonderful home! Thank you again for sharing."

"We have a wonderful stay! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The view was amazing. The condo above us was a little noisy when shuffling chairs around but that would be my only complaint. Very happy with our stay!!"
