"Home was excellent. Only two of us staying so was more than sufficient. Grandchildren visited for an evening - appreciated the game closet. This is our 1st vrbo rental, so I was nervous about not getting info until the day before ... But all worked out with no complications.Great place. Will do again if we are back in the area."

"Agree with other reviews: good location, quiet, clean, many thoughtful amenities, well-stocked, very comfortable and attractive living room. Some minor issues: kitchen on the dark side and especially dining area - may be due to some dead bulbs. Queen bed more like a double. Bathroom lacks space for personal items. Back to the positive: instructions, helpful hints, all communications from owners exceptionally good. Edenton very appealing place. "

"After checking in and getting to our room we noticed some issues. They tried to help remedy the issues but couldn’t. Hotel was full so moving us wasn’t an option. Next day after returning from our sightseeing he told us they had given us the Presidential Suite. That was a welcomed surprise. We shuffled all of our stuff 3 doors down. Room was very big with separate area for king bed. Huge bathroom & living room & kitchenette with table. We had a great sights sleep both nights. Breakfast was good and standard fare of eggs, sausage & other hot & cold items. Clean area & maintained as well. Laundry was $2.75 for each. Upon checking out I found out they did not charge us for 1st night & only charged us for the upgraded room. I very much appreciated the effort made by staff to rectify the issue. It had nothing to do with cleanliness, that was fine. Issues we had fall under management/maintenance and not those who work the front desk. "

"Room had an odor to it and my mom did not stay there but two hours and I checked her out . When I went to the office to check out no one was in there then all of a sudden a girl came walking in from outside and said oh I’m sorry . Room was old looking . "
