"The house was wonderful, right on the Abermarle Sound , with the Chowan River as one of its tributaries. So if you’re a fisherman like me, this spot is incredible for catfish, skate and crabs galore. I caught some of the biggest crabs I’ve ever seen in my life, and I’ve been crabbing 50 years. Almost all of the neighbors were enjoying life on the water, fishing, swimming or just watching the incredible sunset every night . The house itself was perfect, clean , and had everything a vacationer could possibly need. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive. The bathroom is beautiful and the washer/dryer look brand new and are a lot nicer than the ones I have at home. The town of Edenton is a short drive ( 7 minutes) away and it is a lovely town with some very nice places to shop, walk around and enjoy a meal. If you came across this house and the dates you want are available, grab it, you will absolutely love it and want to come back year after year."

"When we arrived on the property and opened the door we were welcomed with a fresh clean home that smelled really good inside. The home was very welcoming. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need from tongs to condiments and even foil. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing on the pier and we even took a swim. The property even had boogie boards and life vests for us to use and we drove the golf cart around the neighborhood to take a look around. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and we enjoyed looking at the decor throughout the home. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone especially if you are going on a family vacation. We give this property and our experience 5 stars!"

"When I checked in there was a issue with one of the four rooms I booked. The front desk lady was able to correct the issue with some trouble on her part, which pleased me immensely with her effort. The other issue was the waffle maker. All five days I could not get it to cook all four sections. One or two sections were only half the height. Tried doing different things per a couple other guests to no avail. It did not like me."

"A truly comfortable family space with a fantastic, highlighted view of the water. There was something fun for everyone in the family - fishing, tree swing, pool table, board games, and both indoor and outdoor space to gather and make memories. From a family of deer on the lawn in the morning, a pod of dolphins passing by in the river in the evening. Our host could not have been more helpful and responsive when we had inquiries during the stay. From spotting a family of deer on the lawn in the morning, to spying a pod of dolphins passing by in the river in the evening, we hope to make this beautiful property a regular booking!"
