Gentle rolling hills, wide meadow valleys, picturesque villages, magnificent views from the peaks, and rustic mountain huts. Those seeking peace and quiet in nature, or who want to go for walks, hikes, and bike rides, can spend relaxing days here, climb up to enjoy beautiful views, stop for a bite to eat at mountain huts and inns, and feel right at home.

Our region, located south of the 1,000-year-old city of Bautzen and just an hour’s drive from Dresden, has always attracted holidaymakers. This is due not only to the beautiful landscape and the warmth of the hosts, but also to the amazing things there are to discover in the local communities. We’d be happy to help you plan and organise your holiday.
