A homey interior featuring warm pine flooring, antiques, tons of natural light, and thoughtful built-ins will keep you snug and cozy in your beach house when you are done frolicking in the waves for the day. An added bonus to this North Topsail beach rental is the farmer’s market fruit and veggie stand just around the corner, an easy walk for fresh produce and daily treats from local farmers. Even though this cottage has an enduring vintage touch to it, you will find modern multi device charging pads and wifi throughout. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Surf City offers several local owned boutiques, family restaurants, parks, and a 937-foot-long fishing pier. Surf City is also home to the exciting Missiles and More museum Which is a former missile plant turned into a museum. You can also relax during your stay at the Sound Park to enjoy live bands and on special nights bring your chair and watch an outdoor movie. There are approximately 7 golf courses within the Topsail Area that are open to the public. Getting Around: Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pivot Parking at an hourly rate). The quiet road was perfect for walks and bike rides. Beach access was close and at a quiet part of the beach. Neighbors were quiet and friendly and the produce stand a block away was a special treat with availability of fresh produce, ice cream and sorbet everyday! We spent 90% of our time when in the house on the deck and enjoyed the views of sunrise and storms over the ocean. The management company responded quickly to any questions and concerns. What a great place to stay! Love coming back to North Topsail and really enjoyed this property. It was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds and furniture were comfortable and the views were fantastic! The front porch was wonderful! Many cups of coffee and lunches were enjoyed here. And being able to sit at the kitchen table with dinner and enjoy the ocean was great! But a special shout out the management company! Stellar group! Answered every question quickly and with a smile in the voice. And they even came by to help us with a very minor problem and we were so appreciative!
