This 4 BR/3 BA home sleeps a max. of eight people. It has a private walkway leading directly to the sand. We provide everything you'll need for a relaxing vacation. Linens, towels (beach towels too), trash bags, starter paper products, beach chairs, a cooler, a sun canopy, etc. The kitchen is fully stocked, and we have floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets for your food storage, as well as a pantry closet for heavy items (cases of soda, water, etc.). The home is two stories. The first level has an oceanfront king bedroom with ensuite bath (shower), an oceanfront queen bedroom and a bunk room that share a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The washer/dryer is located on this level. The second level features the living area, open kitchen with huge dining island with seating for 8, a 65" TV, a full bath with shower, and an oceanfront king bedroom. All three oceanfront bedrooms have ocean views and sliders to the decks. The king and queen beds feature premium mattresses by Serta iComfort. The bunk beds feature memory foam mattresses. We have been hosting happy vacationers since 2012 in Tennessee and Florida, 2023 was our first year hosting on Topsail Island. We are in a fantastic location, a bit north of Surf City, but south of the N. Topsail bridge leading to Sneads Ferry. Our beach is not public, so it's rarely crowded. We enjoy ample sand at both low and high tides. We have a shower on the walkover to rinse off, and a fully enclosed outdoor shower on the ground level. If you're familiar with the area, for reference, we are just a few minutes' walk from Andrew's Produce! This home is dog friendly (with prior approval), for one dog under 50 pounds. Due to insurance restrictions, we can accept adult dogs only (over one year), and your dog must be housebroken and crate trained, and we require crating when your dog is left alone. We have a large crate for your convenience. We also offer an enclosed fenced area at the back of the home with dog turf. Feel free to message us for full details about our dog policy. We are committed to providing our guests with all the comforts of home, and we feel confident that you'll be blown away by all of the extras and special touches we provide. We have been hosting since 2012, and have rentals in the Smoky Mountains, and in SW Florida in a quaint small town called Manasota Key (Englewood, FL). We also just completed the renovation of a small sound side home just a few doors up from Steps To The Sea. It's called Steps To The Sound, is 2 BR/2BA, sleeps a max. of four, and has a brand new private dock over the sound. It's just across the street from the beach access. Our family stayed there for Thanksgiving and it was everything we could hope for and more. It is right on the beach - where we enjoyed mulitple walks a day. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've ever had in a VRBO - there was everything you could ever need. The layout was amazing with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor. No crowds or traffic. Water was still warm. Found sharks teeth, visited the pier, ate lots of different food, enjoyed the sun and fishing. Plenty of space for all of us. House was beautiful, plenty of room, and 3 bathrooms was a plus!! Everything you need and more as far as towels, toiletries etc. Cleaning staff needs to pay a little more attention to under beds and kitchen table. Being pet friendly, hair flew out as soon as we turned on the fans. We did not bring a pet. Would absolutely stay again! ##### Trey O. We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have felt more at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely every utensil, pot and pan we could have needed. There was a great assortment beach items including beach toys, towels, chairs, and a sun shade. The house was very clean and well appointed. The owner is communicative and pleasant to work with. House is newly remodeled and updated in everyway. The interior is nicely decorated and the host has thought of everything you need for a stay away. We really appreciated not having to bring beach gear or beach towels and having it all available. We also appreciated all the amenities and perfectly stocked home, no extra trips to the store for anything forgotten, Michelle already thought of it and had an extra supply. Beds were very comfortable and house was very comfortable overall with the beach just a walk down the stairway and out to the ocean. Our family really enjoyed being together here for a few days and would look forward to staying again. ##### Julianne M. The bathroom is not attached to bedroom and only one on that level. Little bit of an inconvenience if that person likes privacy. Access to beach was. A plus. Beach amenities go over and beyond. Not crowded. Large. Easy to get to. Our dog and kids had a great time. The house is lovely. Clean, well furnished, well-equipped, laid out well. Everything is taken care of and not worn or in need of maintenance. Mostly the word that comes to mind is easy. Staying here is easy. Relaxing. You are well cared for. There is olive oil, spices, nice pans and sharp knives in the kitchen. There are beach chairs and towels for you to use, nice linens and mattresses. Nice touches like travel shampoos and soft towels and a bin full of stuff just in case you forgot a toothbrush or razor. There is dish soap and laundry soap. There is toilet paper and hand soap. Bring yourself and your family and enjoy the water. A great stay and a great location. Really thoughtfully put together rental. Thank you! ##### Kim J. It has a private boardwalk directly to the beach and a convenient outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. This kept most of the sand out of the house... a plus! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with including beaters to make a birthday cake. The ocean was a lovely green color and the water was warm. The sand was soft but also firm close to the ocean which made for beautiful walks on the beach at sunrise. The house also accommodated our pet English Bulldog beautifully. We had a great family vacation at this property overall! ##### Michelle G. This beautiful beach front home exceeded our expectations in every way. Pet-friendly homes often look worn or have cheap furnishing, but Steps By the Sea was exceptional. It was super clean, beautifully decorated and obvious that no expense was spared in the recent remodel. We loved the furniture, full size modern appliances, kitchen cabinets, dishes, cooking utensils, countertops, bathroom fixtures, vanities, tile work, flooring, etc.. Attention to detail in furnishings was amazing...motion-detector nightlights, numerous electrical outlets, plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, sun canopy, beach toys, dog pen, deck chairs and tables, etc..
