We stay july 4th .2024 And rebook right after for labor day . Beautiful view. Clean place,easy to get up since it 1st floor. Not even 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Fun visit in N Topsail

Our visit was after Labor Day. My friend, visiting from Chicago, was enchanted with the view, the pool, and the stunning sunrises. Great accommodations and a beautiful beach. Quiet, uncrowded and peaceful.

Another nice visit to Topsail

While we didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy this location, we do enjoy Topsail and this unit was fine. Chris, the owner, was on point with communication and we appreciated the hospitality.

Family vacation

This was a perfect place for a family beach vacation for my son, his wife, their two daughters (ages almost 4 and 6 months), and my husband and me. They had their own bedroom and bathroom with plenty of space for the 4 of them, and my husband and I had our own space and bathroom. There was plenty of space for all of us in the living and dining areas. It was a very short walk to the beach and the swimming pool (my 4 year old granddaughter LOVED the pool). The sheets and towels provided as part of the rental were VERY much appreciated, since we are all home now and don't have that laundry to do.

Nice location but needs some updating

The location was perfect. Size of the unit was great and clean. The kitchen was almost impossible to use super outdated, very limited supplies and the dishes were dirty. The patio had no furniture and was dirty. Easy fixes to make this place much nicer.

Relax and unwind

We all relaxed, recharged and made memories. We beached, cooked, laughed, played games, slept late, enjoyed sunrise and sunsets, conversed, re-connected. The condo allowed us to accomplish all of those joys. We hope to return.

Family vacation

Great location on the beach with pool. The sliding door was not usable during our stay so limited outdoor patio time. Could use some updating in kitchen with appliances and kitchenware. Needs newer patio furniture. No outdoor beach chairs or umbrella included but can be rented for a hefty price.

Great Place for Peace & Quiet

N Topsail is not the place to be if you are looking for lots of places nearby to do stuff. (Getting food at night was a challenge.) But if you want a quiet beach spot it fits the bill. The condo was great. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. The cabinets could use an upgrade (paint?) but at the end of the day, I wasn’t there for the kitchen. The unit was clean, comfortable and the view was awesome.

Needs a deep cleaning

Condo was very roomy. I could feel the sand on the floors when I walked in. Bought a new air exchange filter size 20x16x1 because the filter was filthy and the air vents had dust hanging on them and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom had a very noticeable dust ring around the edges. Saw a live roach in the master bath shower. The ring camera at the door made us feel like we were being watched.

Watch out

Ok location, the unit was ok. As others have said, the balcony has a week spot it. If you stay here be careful. The owner looks for ways to take your money. We arrived early, we knew it was before the check in time, but we decided to check the room. No one was there, and it looked clean. We decided to change clothes and hit the beach. We may have been in the room 5 minutes. When we got home I received a email from the owner. He had charged me 50 dollars for arriving early. He saw it on the security camera. There was no harm done, we spoke to the cleaning people who arrived as we were leaving.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

We have been visiting Topsail for over 25 years and this was probably the first time we stayed in a property that I would not give 5 stars. We have stayed at Shipwatch II the last 5 years but this was the first time at this property. The location, access to the ocean and pool are all amazing which we knew! However the unit itself is beyond basic, cold and has no character. Luckily we were just there for a short weekend stay because all it’s good for was a place to sleep. The kitchen is filled with the bare necessities, so if you plan on cooking meals be prepared to possibly not have what you need. There were a list of items wrong with the unit that I made the owner aware of as soon as we got there. The owner did reach out and asked if any of the items listed needed fixed right now, however we said no because we were only there for the weekend. The floors were dirty throughout. The master bedroom sliding door is rusted shut and master bathroom door does not shut. We were unable to use the patio. The only patio furniture is two very cheap plastic chairs, there are also ring cameras that point directly on the patio and from the front door into the kitchen window (where there is no blind or curtain mind you) So if you like basic and being spied on this place is great!

Nice condo and quiet complex

The condo was really nice and comfortable. It’s on the first floor so not much of an ocean view due to the sand bank but you could hear it and smell it and it was a short walk to beach. We stayed Memorial Day weekend and still the beach wasn’t over crowded. Really nice beach and pool. We couldn’t find the pool fob and had to message the manager to buzz us in the pool but she responded quickly. The parking lot did get full a couple times and we had to do rounds to find a spot. Beds were comfortable and condo was very clean. Really nice water pressure in the showers, was quiet and relaxing stay. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils too.

Quick getaway

Was able to rent this condo at the last minute for a spontaneous getaway. Chris was very responsive and easy to work with. I loved looking at the ocean and listening to the waves 24/7. The long beach was terrific for daily walks. Very peaceful escape. The only recommendation I have is that the owners should provide soap & shampoo for their guests.

Relaxing weekend

The condo was exactly like the pictures, very clean. The WIFI was good and there was a smart TV in the living room and it worked great. The area was quiet and the beach was awesome. Chris communicated all the info we needed quickly. We would definitely stay there again.
