"Parking was free and sufficient availability. The room was quiet & clean, but very minimalistic. There was only 2 small bar soap and 2 packets of hair shampoo/conditioner. No facial tissue or other amenities such as coffee/tea in the room. In the morning, there was hot water with instant coffee packets & tea bags in the lobby. For budget pricing this was a pleasant stay and just minutes into the main part of Carpentaria, which had many eateries and shops, with close proximity to the beach. "

"This is a special place. If you are looking for immaculate appointed rooms, this is not the place. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, the location fantastic, a wonderful staff and delicious restaurant. Old California, it is a classic. Enjoy it."
