"Just to be clear, this review is for the Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. ____ My wife and I were only there for one night, but glad we picked this place. The room was clean and the "partial ocean view" was still a great overall view-plenty of ocean to see. Hotels.com description of place was correct. Black out curtains were actually blackout. I slept very well. Restaurants near-by. Walk to the beach took less than a minute. Elevators moved quickly, but be aware, those doors close fast! Only real negative is the parking. Few free spaces available and valet was a bit expensive. Not worth it for us, but for someone reading this review, just be ready to pay $20-30 USD plus tip, if you go with valet parking. Fortunately, we were there in the off season (or so I was told), so I was able to find a parking spot relatively close. Overall, I recommend the place. Would stay again if ever back in Jacksonville Beach FL. *From my wife: Recommend watching the sunrise on the pier. But bring a jacket. It's chilly in the morning. From me: You're considered "a local" ( $1 per person/day) at the pier if you're staying at the Margaritaville hotel. I can't speak to the other hotels, but likely it's the same. Fishing is also available. And yes, she did love the sunrise. "

"The place is pretty much held together by latex caulk, which could use a a few more tubes. The place is worth 150 a night but I paid over 300. All the appliances are dated. The parking was tight, and we scraped our wheel pretty bad trying to navigate it. The owner was nice. The deck is what I had hoped it would be."

"Everything was as it was described! We had an amazing trip and enjoyed the oceanfront. Sitting on that balcony brought great peace. The host was an awesome and communicated everything clearly. I’m sure if we would have needed anything, she would have been right on it."

"We loved this property! It was just a short walk to the beach, and the unit was stocked with almost everything beachy we needed including chairs, towels, cooler, and umbrella. (We bought a beach mat and left it for future guests.) The unit was well-stocked, cozy, and comfortable. The bed sits very low and is also very firm. Ceiling fans and an easy-to-adjust thermostat ensure you can keep the temp as desired. There's a nice little sitting area outside, lots of dining options nearby, and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Perfect for a couple's getaway."

"This condo has all of the amenities needed for a restful stay. Location was perfect for those sunrise shots and evening views of the beach. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. I had to give this stay 4 stars on "Cleanliness" because of two specific items. 1) There were active roaches seen in the kitchen -- so all utensils, pots & pan, cups, plates & bowls had to be pre-washed before using, 2) A few coffee cups in the cabinet were not clean. Coffee stains on the outside & inside of the cups, could have been easily wiped off with a cleaning in the sink or dishwasher. FYI: bring your own facial tissues, and also toilet paper, unless you don't mind #250 sandpaper... a little rough."
