About this property
Your basecamp for lake days, trail miles, fires, and slow mornings.
We have a campsite near Lake George in Skowhegan and we added a few sites to share with friends and family. We are going to rent out few places to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. This is a tent but we have included some of the comforts of home. Thereis power to charge your phone, ac to keep you cool, a refrigerator to keep your drinks cold, lights and a coffee maker. There’s a bathhouse to shower and clean up. We are working on getting the septic system installed and have a portable toilet to use until it’s completed. From the campsite you can take a 10 minute walk down to the lake or you can spend the day hiking. You can drive down to the boat landing and put your kayak in the water or continue up the road to enjoy a nice sandy beach.
Skowhegan is home to this campsite. Redington Museum and Fort Halifax are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Eaton Mountain and JW Parks Golf Course. Skowhegan State Fairgrounds and First Congregational Church are also worth visiting. Visit our Skowhegan travel guide
