The house was perfect to stay with this many people without being annoyed by each other and we loved the Billard Area to cool down from the sun at the pool. It was ideal for that many people. The villa, grounds and pool were a perfect to relax. The kitchen had all of the appliances we need. The bathrooms were big and the separate downstairs family apartment kept us all together but separate when needed. The AC units worked great. The hosts were available nearby when we needed them for answers to questions. The villa is not close to Sitges. It is in the surrounding hillside. You will need to rent a car. There are no grocery stores that you can walk to. Everything that you need for supplies have to be gotten while out exploring the area. It is very peaceful up in this hill section. The solitude while at the big pool ( for the area) was enjoyed for a few of the days. The trip to Sitges is a bit of a drive but well worth more than one excursion. Espaciosa, racional, muy bien equipada, camas excelentes, ventiladores de madera silenciosos en todas las estancias. Un patio-jardín lleno de arbustos y flores, y una pequeña piscina de agua salada, deliciosa. Un oasis de tranquilidad en pleno mes de agosto. La cocina, insuperable. La decoración de un gusto exquisito, sin excesos, se corresponde con los anfitriones, Patxi y Carol, que nos han facilitado en todo momento la llegada y estancia, denotan haber vivido en países civilizados y han respondido a todas nuestras dudas, cambios de horarios, necesidades. A 5 minutos a pie de la playa, por unas escaleras de vistas preciosas, o a 10 minutos por las callejuelas del pueblo costero.We have just enjoyed an exceptional, historic house on the top of the ancient village of Caldetas, refurbished in a Nordic style. Spacious, rational, very well equipped, excellent beds, quiet wood ventilators in all the stays. A patio-garden full of trees, flowers and a small swimming pool with salt water, delicious. A tranquillity oasis in the heat of month of August ! The kitchen, insurmountable. The decoration of an exquisite taste, without excesses, corresponds with the hosts, Patxi & Carol, who have facilitated us at any moment our arrival and stay, a couple that denotes to have lived in very civilized countries and that has responded all to our doubts, changes of schedules, necessities. And really located at 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, by stairs with a superb view, or 10 minutes by the small streets of the old town.Nous venons d’un séjour magnifique dans une maison exceptionnelle, historique, située en haut du noyau ancien du village de Caldetas. Spacieuse, rationnelle, très bien équipée, des lits excellents, des ventilateurs en bois silencieux partout. Un patio-jardin plein d’arbustes, plantes, fleurs et une petite piscine d’eau salée, délicieuse. Un vrai oasis de paix en plein mois d’août. La cuisine, mieux impossible. Décorée avec un gout exquis, sans excès, la maison ressemble les propriétaires, qui en tout moment ont rendu facile notre arrivée et séjour, un couple qui, à l’évidence, a vécu dans des pays civilisés y qui a donné réponse à tous nos doutes, demandes, changement d’horaires, besoins.
