The staff were brilliant. The room was dated but the bedsheets and towels very clean and fresh. There were small flies coming out of the bathroom basin overflow, which also looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Lovely hotel
Very comfortable beds, friendly, smiling team, always happy to help. Large rooms and great breakfast. Our bathroom looked a bit old and dirty due to age (not due to them not cleaning) The “gym” only has three things in it - running/cycling/walking (no weights) and the pool is small, but nice.

Great location and very good value, comfortable accommodation, providing breakfast daily. This was a wonderful base for our week’s stay in Singapore. Within walking distance to many attractions, such as Suntec City, Marina Gardens by the Bay and Orchard Road. MRT train stop 100 metres away. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The Hotel Royal is a great hotel. Its location is perfect for those of us who like to stay close, but not to crowded with other people. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Singapore.

Very convenient location, close to MRT stations. Can easily walk to Bugis Junction from Hotel. MRT was super easy to get around, bought a Tourist 3 Day Pass to use, really got our moneys worth. Nice breakfast at Hotel.

Stayed at Hotel Royal @ Queens for 7 nights for a work trip. Room on the 14th floor which was very quiet and spacious with a comfortable King size bed. Small bathroom but perfectly usable. Breakfast was standard with regular options. Overall it was fine but not high quality or exceptional.

It was in a good position close to the MRT. Most staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel could do with a lounge to sit, read or wait and there was some mould in our bathroom.

The bathroom shower over tub sprayed water everywhere drowning bathroom. Shower suction mat totally mouldy on the suction side. Shower over tub could be difficult for the even slightly infirm. We had enormous trouble with WIFI not working for 4 days Many complaints to reception. Reception did send people up to look, and then a worker had a look at router in ceiling and said it could not be fixed. Had to use laptop in lift area at a hotspot. We were offered a room change but decided that as we were leaving 48 hours later not worth the bother. There was a lack of sufficient sitting area in reception, but i feel that work was being done to counteract that.

The hotel conciege is friendly considering that there are food court s nearby the breakfast price is too expensive and for the we are paying per room nights, water should be free I was told to get a bottle to fill up at a dispenser which to me its an Inn type of service Everytime i shoer the bath room gets flooded and the TV chaneld sucks the filipino reception its is not helfull and no light control consolidated near the bed

Location was good near MRT and walkable to Marina Bay area. Reasonably quiet location and attentive, helpful staff. Room well serviced and early each day which was appreciated. Bathroom a bit dated (drainage slow) but overall good value for cost.

Arrived early but did not allow early check-in. However they gave me a room an hour earlier than estimated. The security deposit was made by cash and was provided a receipt. They failed to mention that on check out I had to provide the receipt to get the refund.

Location is great as mrt and bugis all walking distance. The hotel itself is outdated as I stayed here 10years ago. You can see this in the bathrooms and also the towels provided were well worn as edges were all ragged and coming apart. Breakfast needs more variation also. We chose this hotel mainly for location.

We enjoy stay at this hotel and we csn sleep well. The location is very good and the environment is very nice. We can sleep soundly, although at the first our room air condition is not running well but is OK after the hotel's technician repair it

Overall quite disappointed, nothing like what I saw in the pictures. Room was in need of refurbishment but worst of all was the poor housekeeping. I understand there maybe a staff shortage but not once was the room vacuumed in the 9 days I was there. The upper half of the tall mirror in the room had not been cleaned in months, previous guests had used their finger to put the date in the dust…September and again in December 2021. Hallway carpets were not vacuumed daily. There is better value elsewhere.

Good experience for staycay
First time here. Rooms clean and comfy. Bed a bit soft. Decor and feel like KSL JB. Convenient location near food and shopping. Small details though - 3 pax sharing room only 2 pax amenities, cracked lamp shade, wonky toilet flush button. Ironing board with burnt portions on the board cover. Just feels a bit... Old... But minor to me. Didn't affect comfort or stay. All in all an affordable price for a staycay. Staff were friendly and smiling. BEST THING: AIRCON WORKS WELL!!!
