We had a wonderful relaxing week at Vale da Lapa in April with our two young sons. The villa was spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day if you want it to be. The swimming pools are great and the boys loved them. It was quite quiet the week we were there, so we often had them to ourselves. We also used the spa facilities and these were great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two nights on route elsewhere. The staff are absolutely charming and helpful in every way. Available meals were simple and limited, but were more than adequate and were reflected in their lower cost, particularly as the setting from the veranda easily made up for it. Fabulous. Only issue was the name which is not obvious outside the building but police station opposite so when you know this it is easy to find. A real treat of a place. Top notch natural bedding too.

This is my second visit to The Navigator- Ocean Heights and the location is fabulous! Reception desk staff are very friendly, in fact all staff are and very polite. Been in an ocean view room twice, recently in a room that had a large balcony looking straight at the ocean which was truly amazing! Walking up to amazing views was special. Great pool area too. If I am going back to Albufeira for a third time I will definitely only stay at this hotel. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Really great property and really well fitted out in the kitchen for cooking which can be rare. Great and helpful staff who are very responsive. Great to have the easy access to the pool for lazy afternoons and the Moroccan restaurant at the pool is amazing and really good value. Easy 15-minute walk into the centre of town which goes past small local Portuguese restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops so you could experience the fancy old town places as well as the authentic local places.

We stayed at the Episode Sana for 4 nights. We went to relax and whine down, so the location was a perfect spot for us. If you want to. Stylish spa hotel, with great accommodation and beautifully manicured gardens. Even has its own man made beach in the grounds in addition to the pool area. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Fantastic setting, built into the cliff face. Probably the best views in the whole of The Algarve! Wonderful rooms with extraordinary views out over the sea. Amazing breakfasts, great food and drink during the day. Great staff who treat you like one of the family.
