  • With mountain views, Chalet Castagno is located in Garfagnana, within the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines National Park, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The 50 m² property features a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 4 guests. Additional amenities include a TV and access to a shared gym for your enjoyment.



    The highlight of this accommodation is the private outdoor area with a covered terrace offering breathtaking mountain views. Guests also have access to a shared outdoor area with a garden.



    Outside, you’ll find a children’s play area with a guided sensory path and a fitness trail for adults. On site, there is a snack bar and a shop selling local and handmade products. The owners recommend exploring the Matilde di Canossa trail.



    Parking is available on site. In the common area in front of reception, there is a free charging station for e-bikes. Up to 2 dogs are allowed for an extra fee. When booking, please specify your dog’s breed and temperament. Air conditioning is not available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Homemade and homegrown products are offered. The property follows recycling rules; more information is provided on site.



    A stove is available and two bags of pellets are provided; additional bags are available for an extra fee. Mountain excursions can be arranged, both free and for an extra fee. More details are provided upon booking. An expert guide is available in July and August to help you discover the area.

Luogo immerso nella natura, bellissima accoglienza, comodità

Pros: vera e propria baita di legno tra gli alberi molto comoda, piacevole e pulita, accoglienza ottima, da parte della Sig.ra Ilaria , cordiale, generosa e spontanea e attenta alle nostre esigenze, ci ha fatto sentire bene accetti , oltre essere ben disposta nei confronti del nostro gatto e che ringraziamo per tutto; spicca poi l'attenzione all'ambiente e bellissimo lo spettacolo delle lucciole dopo il tramonto Cons: nulla, in particolare, se proprio vogliamo trovare delle mancanze : il wi-fi disponibile solo nelle vicinanze della reception (non nella casa) in una zona dove anche il segnale del cellulare è scarso e poi la mancanza di zanzariere (gradite specie al tramonto)

Pros: Se cercate un po’ di relax e quiete il Villaggio di Ilaria è il posto giusto per voi. Immersi nella natura, avrete l’occasione di scegliere tra varie località escursioni adatte a tutti quanti e di ammirare paesaggi bellissimi. Per noi è già la seconda volta che andiamo a trovare Ilaria con il nostro amico a quattro zampe, Murphy, che si è divertito a correre e giocare nell’ampio giardino che circonda i vari chalet del villaggio. Torneremo sicuramente!
