"The place was quiet and peaceful. The deck and porch give you beautiful views of the lake through oaks and other trees. We were there in September and just kept the windows open and enjoyed the mountain air. Debra was great communicating quickly with us. The lake and pier were perfect. The only thing people need to realize is that there are a lot of stairs to get to the lake. We are older and had no problems but for some it could be an issue. Once you are by the water kayaks and chairs are supplied we could not of had more fun. The place is located very near a lot of restaurants and shops we ate out every night."

"We recently stayed at this North Carolina property and it completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, neat, and well-maintained the home was. It truly felt like a home away from home.What made the experience even more special was our host, who was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and responsive throughout our stay. "The property was great - great location. Very comfortable beds and lots of room. I liked that there were night lights in the bathrooms. The driveway was steep but we had been told about that so we were prepared. Loved everything about it."

"This home has a lot of nice things going for it. The view of Lake Glenville is beautiful and the location is convenient-- about 7 minutes to town and 2 minutes to Signal Ridge Marina. Check-in was seamless and communication with the management company was generally prompt. The home appeared to have been professionally cleaned, with basic toiletries provided, which we appreciated. The bedrooms are spacious and there is ample parking for three cars (which is not always the case in the mountains). Our family also enjoyed playing table tennis and the kids liked the provided board games.There are, however, a few things to be aware of. First, although the view is great, the screened porch is dark and the road noise is quite loud. Given that we travel to western NC to enjoy the outdoors, this was a little disappointing. Second, the furnishings felt sparse--adequate, but not particularly comfortable or high-end. Third, we noticed quite a few ants inside. Fourth, we had a couple instances where the water to the home shut off completely. I am not sure what the cause was, and thankfully it only lasted a few minutes each time, but this was not ideal during a shower.Overall, we had a nice stay, but in our experience, there are more luxurious properties in Cashiers at the same price point."
