Like that was quiet. Didn't like that safety and maintenance was an issue. The rail on the walkway from the parking lot was loose and needed repair. Didn't like the creaky doors that needed oil. All the cabinet knobs were like keys that frequently fell out. The farm is a renovated family estate. Our room was clean and spacious with lovely windows. Breakfast is delicious-- and you can order farm fresh eggs! The pool is a nice touch in the heat. It takes 15 mins to drive to Sienna, 50 to Montalcino. What a beautiful location. Terrific breakfasts! Quiet! Just a note. This is a ways out of town. Renting a car would be ideal if possible. A taxi is roughly 25 euros per trip. My children, 9 & 10, loved being able to see the chickens, and there was a sweet farm cat. After hectic travel, we spent a lovely day at the pool. Everything was pristine and the views were incredible. We enjoyed chatting with the owner.
