"This hotel truly makes every guest feel as if they are really welcome and important. It is the best breakfast buffet. Spa services, full gym, nice pool, and calm aesthetically pleasing surroundings make for a very pleasant stay."
"The staff at the Metta were absolutely amazing, kind, welcoming, and so helpful. Some of the best hotel service we have ever had. That said, the cleanliness of the hotel and the general upkeep are not 5 stars. When we checked in there was a dead frog on the floor of our hotel room, lots of bugs in the bathroom and bedrooms, hair from the previous guests still on the bathroom counter, and more mold than one would expect, even in a tropical hotel. We stayed in the private pool suite and the outside furniture was solid mold. To the point you absolutely couldn't use it. The main pool was better but the furniture and bar also showed a lot of wear and tear.
The food was okay, the breakfast had a good selection. The cocktails were very good and very reasonable. Service in the restaurant was great though!
The service was absolutely 5 stars, but the hotel facilities and cleanliness were not what we had hoped for."
"We spent the day exploring Cambodia and then return to a peaceful hotel with good room service, food, a swimming pool, and helpful staff. It was a comfortable end to our Siem Reap trip."
"Great hotel and even better staff. Very helpful, extremely polite and professional. Breakfast was amazing every morning. The AC worked perfectly. Room, linens and toiletries were on point. Highly recommend."
"What a truly wonderful experience! We booked in for a whole week here for my 50th birthday and to see Angkor Wat - it was such a great decision. Slightly outside of town, we were able to completely cut off from the chaos and heat of Siem Reap and the temples and truly relax here. With a pool big enough to accommodate multiple groups of visitors, the staff went above and beyond to help us. From breakfast in the morning, to snacks in the afternoon and being greeted ‘welcome home’ every evening after a visit to town, the staff here make this place! The ride into town was around $2-$3, but the staff will also organise a driver and air conditioned van for any longer trips, or day hire. The food from the courtyard restaurant was tasty and fresh but didn’t carry the price tag of a 5 star stay. The spa services were great, with all of the adults indulging in a massage or two. On my birthday, I was treated to a Happy Birthday sign in freshly picked flowers on my freshly made bed and birthday cake with accompanying song sung by staff. Overall, our experience was wonderful!"
