The onsen bath was cold on two nights and when we shared this with staff, they reset things quickly, allowing us to return in an hour to piping hot spring baths. The first red flag upon entering is the stained couches. Then you get up to your room and notice all the walls with laminate peeling off. Then entering your room you see hair in the bathroom, carpet that hasn’t been dry cleaned since the 70’s and scuff marks on everything. Alles ist in einem soliden Zustand. Beim Frühstück sieht man, dass sich bemüht wird, auch wenn das Hotel natürlich nicht mit den großen Hotelketten mithalten kann.
