Ashley was the best host. Very professional. We would definitely recommend Ashley and his lovely assistant Lisa, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. We shall be staying there again. The breakfast is to die for, locally sourced and delicious. You could not ask for more it was all provided and presented with love. An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. I was completely unprepared for the Grange , when I booked only as a bed for the night. It is an impressive Georgian edifice rendered friendly and comfortable by furnishings and smiles. The owners are like aunty and uncle who can't do enough for you, without intruding. Amazing value. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff. I was hoping that this hotel was out of the town and was a little concerned when I saw the location was in the suburbs of Halifax however was pleasantly surprised at the peace and lack of noise both traffic and neighbourly. It was the best night's sleep i've had in a hotel lovely comfy bed and the cleanliness 10 out of 10. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Food very good . I really couldn't fault this hotel.

We stayed in room 410, it was a beautiful room, lovely decor & finish, a very good size too. Comfortable bed & bedding, the pillows were far to soft for our liking though. We were slightly dubious about potential noise as the room was next to the lift & across from the kitchen but it was surprisingly quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay from check in through to check out. Spacious, modern rooms and excellent buffet breakfast. Good location for shopping. Bit of a walk to FD Arena but just get an Uber!

Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

Jason & Katlyn in particular but all the Marriott Staff were genuinely friendly & attentive. The deluxe room was as depicted & described, with cleanliness levels to be applauded. The Marriott Leeds, I would highly recommended for its central location, the incredible staff, doorstep retail diversity, & global cuisine dinning options all within easy walking distance. We will be booking the Marriott Leeds again for our future visits to City.
