"We liked the areas for sitting outside, to sit with a coffee, talk and relax. It was convenient to have a fridge. A very different accommodation but typical for the island. We enjoyed our stay!"

"We absolutely love Greenport and the Sound View is the best place to stay. We always get a suite and love having our private balcony to enjoy the view. We usually go in the Fall so this was our first Summer experience and we enjoyed the pool and lounging on the beach and having a waitress offering food and drinks was perfect!"
"We’ve stayed at several properties in the Greenport area and this was our first time at Silver Sands; we loved it! The rooms were updated, clean and cute. The beach access was a huge plus, as well as on site restaurants. They don’t charge for parking (as some hotels nearby are starting to do) and the location is central to Greenport Village and the wineries. We went for an anniversary trip and stayed in the motel section but would definitely come back with the kids and try out the bungalows! Overall great trip and would recommend to others; we will be back!"
"We've booked this property multiple times and always had a wonderful time. The hosts are responsive and helpful and the house is always clean and put together. We will definitely be returning. "
"Bill, our host was always available, and happy to give us helpful advice about restaurants and things to do in the area. A really nice guy.The house is in a picture card location on a beautiful creek, yet within a 5 minute scenic walk into the village, or to the waterfront town. Will certainly be back."
"Beautifully designed property with several unique and inviting spaces. Very comfortable room and bed and we took advantage of the complimentary use of the kayaks and paddle boards and easy access to the beach. The staff at the front desk and the pool bar were extremely friendly and laid back. Lovely hotel. "
"Rams Head Inn is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, our stay did not match up to the price or the description that we were given. Initial welcome was pleasant and but we couldn’t check in early without paying $100! What? NO! We were told they would call when room was ready. At 3:30 I checked front desk and it was ready but no phone call ever. Our room was not a king balcony as described by Expedia as there are no balconies in the entire hotel. Instead, we were given a two room “suite”with a bathroom in between the two rooms. The bedding, sheets, towels were lovely, but the decor was tasteless and cheap. We ate one meal there which was completely overpriced and over salted. The dining areas outside are beautiful overlooking a sloping lawn to a small bay. Service was friendly and efficient. No indoor seating as there is no lobby. Housekeeping left trash and used glasses. Owner offered NO apology or offers to do anything to make our stay better. Will NEVER stay here again or recommend. Front desk staff seemed untrained and gave misinformation. Owner appeared distracted with the fact that she owns a hotel but does not offer true hospitality - just fluff! Breakfast a total JOKE!!"
"The location and room were great for a beach hotel.
No room service and no coffee in the room
The restaurant opens late and doesn’t serve breakfast. Otherwise amazing. "
