"Lots of space to sit and talk or work or catch up with friends. Only minor thing for me personally was no decaf coffee because it meant that my mom waited for me to run to get some. Great location for walking everywhere and not taking the car. And the only reason we haven’t booked every year before is we didn’t know it was there. Will be back again."

"The outdoor area is a real plus, unfortunately we were there during a Noreaster so we didn't get to use it but had no flooding issues as it sits higher than some surrounding houses. The house is very well stocked and plenty of room for cars. The 5th bedroom is up a steep ladder but there was a daybed that we used in place of that 5th bedroom. Host was very accommodating to our requests."

"Great but would benefit from actual window treatment as there are none for privacy in bathroom and light in bedrooms. The lighting fixtures are also a bit scarce so at night it feels like being in a hospital with all the built-in ceiling lights… great place otherwise!"

"Property was well maintained and the rooms were so thought out from there coffee pot to the slippers and bathrobes!!! Staff was very courteous. Nookies was a great place to have breakfast and there freshly made donuts are so tasty and delicious. I highly recommend staying there for a the beautiful views and the quiet rooms. Well go again"

"Went to Shelter Island for a family wedding. Of course that was the weekend of a Nor'easter. Had a great time despite the weather. The house worked out perfectly. Very clean and comfortable. "The only real problem was the constant loud noise of air rushing outside the room from an air shaft along side the chimney. The staff was not able to quiet it. Most of the noise came in via the window a/c unit so removing it and closing the window would have helped. There refrigerator was warm when we arrived but, the evening clerk promptly got it running for us."
