Rooms are clean, grounds are nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a bit dated.

Clean room and mostly friendly staff, with a few exceptions. The morning continental breakfast was a bit of a letdown; it felt like it was thrown together. Oddly, we weren't even told we could order a hot breakfast until we were checking out, so we assumed the continental was all that was available based on how the morning restaurant staff presented things. This is a lovely property, though some cracks are starting to show with age. Overall, a wonderful experience. And I can't say it enough: the valets are exceptional, both in their friendliness and their helpfulness.

Overall appearance of hotel was good. The reason I have a 4 star was because of cleanliness. Our room was dusty, had wads of hair in the floor, and the bathroom floor was dusty/not clean. If it wasn’t for this it would have been great.
