About this property

Whispering Waters, Hot Tub, Riverside, Free Tickets

  • Welcome to Whispering Waters — where the river sets the rhythm of your stay.

Tucked into the peaceful beauty of Wears Valley, this one-level, 3-bedroom riverside cabin is designed to feel less like a rental and more like your own private retreat. From the moment you arrive, the gentle sound of flowing water invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and settle in.

Start your mornings in the sunroom, curled up on the oversized sectional with coffee in hand as sunlight pours through the windows. Evenings are best spent just steps from the river, gathered around the cozy firepit as the water whispers beside you. For a quieter moment, wander up to the hilltop seating for two — a perfect perch to take in the view and reconnect.

Every detail is made for comfort and connection. Slip into the private hot tub for a peaceful soak under the stars. Fire up the charcoal grill and enjoy cooking outdoors, whether it’s a simple lunch or a full riverside dinner experience. Inside, share meals around the dining table for six, or enjoy cooking and baking together in a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.

When it’s time to rest, retreat to thoughtfully designed bedrooms:
    • A king suite with its own en suite bath and a relaxing jetted tub
    • A second king bedroom and a queen bedroom sharing a spacious en suite

Step out onto your private deck for two, just off the sunroom, and let the sounds of nature carry you into the evening.

Though you’ll feel worlds away, you’re only a short drive from the excitement of Pigeon Forge — making it easy to explore, then return to your quiet riverside escape.

At Whispering Waters, it’s not just a stay — it’s an experience shaped by nature, comfort, and unforgettable moments.

This is a super cute cabin. The owners have done a great job decorating. I loved all the fall decorations waiting for us at the front door. The cabin was easy to get to and is really quite accessible to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. It does literally sit right off Wears Valley Road which carries traffic into Pigeon Forge, so sitting outside at night in the hot tub wasn't the best, as you can hear the traffic riding back and forth on that main road. I'm sure there's nothing the owner can do about it, but I was bummed it was THAT close to the main road and all the vehicle noise. This is a pet friendly property (yay!) but there are really no grassy spots for the dogs to take care of business. You'll need to walk down the driveway and find some patches where they can go. Overall, we would probably stay there again. Definitely not the week of the Rod Run and maybe even later after that when all the leaves have changed which could mean even fewer tourists.
