Katies Lodge is a beautiful newly redecorated cabin that has it all and features six private bedrooms, one loft bedroom, six full baths, two whirlpool tubs, a hot tub, and three easy-light gas fireplaces.Outdoor surveillance device for security purpose If you are looking to get away with the family to the Smoky Mountains, and let everyone have their own space, then look no further because Katies Lodge is the cabin that you have been looking for. When you enter the cabin, you walk into the gathering area with both the kitchen and the dining room for Katies Lodge. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, 2 large coffee makers with both coffee pots and k-cup makers, a drink fridge, a kitchen island with 3 bar stools, and loads of extra kitchen appliances for you to use. Just on the other side of the stone wall is the dining room that has two natural log dining tables with seating for up to 16, 2 cloth chairs, a stone encased easy lighting gas fireplace, and a 70-inch smart TV where you and your family can stream your favorite shows while dining together. There are also 2 bedrooms located on this level, both with private bathrooms, queen size beds, in-room whirlpool tubs, and 50-inch flat screen TVs. The main level also features a large covered back deck with everything one would need for a great family cookout all while taking in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. This deck features a gas grill, picnic table, rocking chairs, a swing, benches, and a hot tub where you can soak after a long day hiking. When you go to the lower level of the cabin, you enter the game room and the ideal area for everyone to gather and enjoy spending time together. This game room features a pool table, leather couch, leather love seat, drink station, card table, motorcycle bar, and an 85-inch smart TV with surround sound. There are also two bedrooms downstairs and is the ideal area for kids. The first bedroom comes with a king size bed, 2 nightstands, a 43-inch flat screen TV, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom on this level comes with a set of full-size triple bunk beds, 43-inch flat screen TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The lower level also features the second of the three covered decks which comes with 5 rocking chairs, a bench, and beautiful mountain views. If you go upstairs from the main level, you reach the best area to gather and relax. This floor features a large leather sectional couch with recliners on both ends, a cocktail style multi-cade machine, a 70-inch flat screen TV, floor to ceiling windows, and a stone encased seasonal gas fireplace. On the other side of the stone fireplace, there is a sitting area that is ideal to sit back and read your favorite book. Here you will find a leather sleeper sofa, a leather love seat with two recliners, and a second easy light seasonal gas log fireplace. There are two additional bedrooms on this level as well, each with king size bed, 43-inch flat screen TV, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo. The only thing I would suggest is going through the kitchen cabinets and doing a thorough cleaning of all the stuff because there were several things that we had to rewash during our stay before we used them. It is really huge, just as stated on the site. The home was clean with a few minor missed areas, like under the toaster. Easy miss. Overall, was very clean. The kitchen could use some cushions on the benches, and the hot tub could use a step stool, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. We all had plenty of towels, soap, and supplies. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and even spices. Having the extra storage for wine and beer was a plus. We had everything needed for our stay all we added was family, friends and food and had a wonderful stay. This house does seem to have a daily morning bear visitor, so guests need to be aware when coming and going. This is a home I would love to stay at again. ##### Melissa M. It had everything we needed for our stay. The veiws were beautiful! Communication with Fireside was great. They sent all the information on email & when talking to them on the phone they were very nice & helpful. The only down side was the tricky driveway. We had to drive up the road & turn around to get into the driveway. I would definitely recommend Katie's lodge! ##### Mary T. I understand not providing a key code until check in, but for out of town guests trying to find their way, it's frustrating not to have a GPS address. I had to call at 4pm to request the address and Anna @ Fireside Chalets said she needed to call the cleaning company to confirm if the house was ready. She then called me back and sent me the address, after confirming the house was clean. We arrived around 6pm and the house was NOT clean. Dirty linens, towels, bathrooms, etc. There is no AT&T cell service at the house, so after using someone else's phone, we notified Fireside Chalets and they insisted they would send someone out. They did, but the cleaners failed to leave clean bath towels for 2 out of 6 bedrooms and did not leave linens for the sleeper sofa. I had to call the after hours service twice, requesting these items. We received the sleeper sofa linens sometime after 11:15pm (we put the kids needing the sleeper sofa on the couch that night and went to bed). We never received clean towels for the main level bathrooms and just used our pool towels instead. The bear proof outdoor trash cans were full upon arrival and Fireside expected us to bring any additional trash all the way into town (20 min!) to their dumpster. A doorknob upstairs falls off, deck door doesn't lock, coffee maker didn't work, barely enough utensils. Sent an email to Fireside Chalets with multiple pictures. The property is managed by Fireside Chalets, and everyone there was very friendly and helpful. We stayed here with 14 family members ages 13-76, and we had plenty of space, great bedrooms, bathrooms, and fun. It was easy to cook in the kitchen, share meals around the two tables, and play games. The teens loved hanging out in the basement with the pool table and big TV. The bunk beds were a little short for the 3 tall teen boys. However, they slept diagonally and made it work. There would've been plenty of room on couches too, but they had a better time sharing the triple bunk. Everything was very clean, and overall a great place to stay. We spent time at the Great Smoky Mountains NP, and enjoyed the sunsets and the beautiful view from the multi-level decks. The pool was a bonus, along with the hot tub. The driveway is steep, and not easy to find in the dark - but it's doable. We did have to purchase shampoo, conditioner and soap - as they had some small samples, but not enough for everyone. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for a large group. There are awesome views from multiple points of the cabin. It was decorated very nice. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others for large groups. ##### BONNIE H. Wow we had the best stay of our life. Chalet(Katie’s Cabin) was awesome In the middle of woods, walk down the valley was like heaven with streams flowing through the pebbles surrounded by beautiful flowers. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool room, they had a ball. Even the surrounding places were beautiful once you come out of gated community Shops were not that far, Pigeon forge was in reasonable distance Net net it was a ideal location and very satisfactory cabin ##### Sajan V.
