We loved the location, it was perfect for our group. We wanted to be outside of the busy downtown areas but still be conveniently located to the National Park. The property was quiet and had good views of the sunset over the smokies. The views were awesome and the location couldn’t be better. The only thing I would advise for future renters is that the driveway is EXTREMELY steep. We were all okay, my Toyota Corolla was the smallest of our vehicles and it did fine but I definitely bottomed out every time. This cabin is wonderful, the owner was extremely quick to respond with any questions we had, and was definitely worth every penny. From evening chats on the patio with great views to lively games of pool, this was a great place for us to all reconnect. The location is ideal for getting to the national park and the various attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. While in a development it was secluded feeling with cabins not easily seen from decks and windows. The communication with the host was very quick and effective. The house is very comfortable with two sets of carpeted stairs and a door to the outside from every room! The turn into the driveway is a little tricky but doable with front or 4wd, probably with Rwd if dry or you get a little momentum. We had 4wd and a hitch rack on our expedition and we managed to get in and out. We heard a number of unique wild birds that really was enjoyable (there are actually trees adjacent to the cabin...not stacked next door to another home. We hope we will be able to return again soon. ##### William R. This property is absolutely amazing! We travel a lot with our family and I have to say this was one of our favorite places that we have stayed. The views from the mountain top cannot be described. There are so many beautiful windows overlooking the mountains in every room! The cabin is three full stories so there was plenty of room for my family of 10! Everyone had their own space. Next time, I'll avoid booking during ladybug season, as I couldn't relax with thousands around—just not a bug person. There were 9 adults with plenty of room for all of us. The best part was sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. We visited Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains but it was so busy due to beautiful weather this time of year. So we could have spent the entire 4 days just hanging out here. The grocery store was close and we had big family dinners in the good size dining area. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare our meals. ##### Carole M. Traveling with my husband and our two kids. The cabin was large enough to spread out and relax. We didn’t cook while we were there but the kitchen was equipped with the essentials needed if we had decided to cook. The beds were comfortable.Yes, the driveway is steep but we found that if we came from up the hill we didn’t drag or have any issues.The cabin was close enough to town to attractions, restaurants and shopping that we didn’t dread the drive. It was also far enough that it was quiet and could enjoy time on the deck.We were focused on spending time with our kids (one in college and one just graduated high school). The pool table and other games were great in the evenings. Our other activities were Dollywood, exploring Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, hiking, UTV trail ride with Off-Road Gatlinburg (highly recommend), Pirates Voyage, and the guys made knives at Iron Mountain Metal Craft while the girls shopped.Thank you Karen for the use of your cabin - we love our stay! ##### Sherry K. The festive Christmas trees at the entrance added a cozy touch, and we appreciated the cleanliness and warm sheets provided. The game room became our favorite spot. Although we were without WiFi, as Karen had informed us beforehand, we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The lack of WiFi encouraged quality time and a deeper appreciation of our surroundings.
