The location was great. We were close enough to Pigeon Forge but still far enough away to enjoy the cabin experience. The host was very responsive and welcoming. The cabin was everything we wanted and more! Hands down our favorite place we have stayed in!
The cabin was perfect for our back-to-school shopping trip. The location was great and having an en suite bathroom for each bedroom was very handy. We also enjoyed the theater room and games for family time in the evenings.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful and clean. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and items such as dishwashing detergent, hand soaps, toilet paper, etc. are already provided. The owners are extremely kind, and provided tips about local food and navagting the traffic.
We enjoyed this property so much the first time, we chose it again for this trip. We love the location, the cleanliness, and especially the theatre room. We even saw two bears in the nearby woods. We will definitely pick this cabin for our next visit.
Good location. Clean cabin, nice area. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings. Would definitely recommend for other families. We had our adult children and their partners together with us.
Clean and great location. Close to the touristy stuff yet far enough for privacy. Hot tub was great and all the rooms were comfy. Will be booking again for future trips to this destination. Only wished the theater room was down the stairs for my wheelchair family. By far the best cabin i have stayed in
The cabin was excellent and accurately represented in the photos. The property owner, Ron, checked in with me before my stay, providing my family with information about the area to make my stay more enjoyable. Overall, the success of my first time visit to TN was made possible in large part due to this cabin!
We had a great stay at this home for a family vacation this year. It's removed enough from the busyness of the downtown city area to provide some quiet but close enough to town for when you want to enjoy all the fun offerings in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the surrounding area. The home itself was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed each bedroom having its own bathroom. The theater room was was a special treat that we enjoyed several movie nights while there. We would certainly rent again.
The cabin was fantastic! It was the perfect size for our group. We were able to all sit together in the kitchen and enjoy watching some football in the theatre room. It was a great location for us to be close to Knoxville for the Homecoming game, but not have to deal with game day traffic at all. Highly recommend for a weekend away or trip with a small group.
If you are looking for a house with everything for the family then this is the place! From the game room, to the movie room, and then to the hot tub! We loved it. So cozy and feel right at home. We also loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom.
The property was clean and well taken of. There was everything you would need for your stay. The hot tub was clean and worked well. Lots of room and the movie room is FABULOUS.
I would sugget that they privide hot mitts for the oven!!
Close to convention Center , Sevierville. Owners were nice and helpful. Got help when we could not use the digital lock on the door. Friendly and courteous! Beautiful, clean home. All you can ask for in a three bedroom home. Comfortable for party of 7. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay. Very nice cabin and location. Theater room was awesome!
The only thing I could suggest changing is to have an outside enclosed trash can like most of the other cabins. That would’ve been helpful. The drive to the dumpsters each day was a little annoying.
It was a nice cabin with everything you need. I would have loved a little more seating in living room as we took turns sitting in kitchen chairs so we could all be together.
Theater room was a big hit with nice recliners.
I enjoyed the neighborhood but pool was really small and we never got the opportunity to use it.
Very nice cabin for 4 adults and 2 children. Location was very good. Beds were in decent shape, no issues with any electrical, plumbing, HVAC during our stay.
Here are a couple of opportunities to consider:
1) provide more durable / stronger trash bags since you have to carry garbage a good distance
2) only one side of hot tub jets worked
3) need a place outside for dirty diapers, again it’s a bit of distance to go to throw away one diaper
4) I texted Kim about hot tub Sunday evening and our departure time Monday morning. No response. Be nice to at least confirm text received.
We appreciate you sharing your wonderful cabin with us and others.
We tried something different this year because of an injury made it difficult to walk. What drew me to this listing was that it said it was sparkling clean and handicapped accessibility. The listing promised and delivered. It was clean upon arrival, 2 of the bedrooms were downstairs and they had their own bathrooms attached. The third bedroom was upstairs along with another bathroom, game room and theatre. We really enjoyed the theatre and game room but my family really loved the hot tub and spent hours relaxing and enjoying that. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was closed when we went so back to the hot tub we went! The kitchen was fully equipped and also clean. If you want to relax and enjoy being with your family, this is the place to go.
We were 3 siblings and their spouses vacationing from across the country (FL, CO, TN) together for the first time in years. The cabin was just what we needed and exactly as advertised. One of us arrived a little before check in and we were able to get in an hour early, which was great after traveling for 2 days.
One thing I would suggest, more seating in the living area. There is only a sofa and recliner, so 2 or 3 of us had to pull up kitchen chairs, not the most comfortable.
Also, there was a LOT of notices about rules and check out procedures. Maybe the owner has had trouble in the past with people not following, but it seemed like a lot of rules and a lot of reminders.
Overall we loved it and would rent again. Thanks to the hosts!
This log home is beautiful and comfortable. We had 4 adults and 2 children, ages 6 and 3 and there was plenty of room. The theater room is fantastic and we enjoyed watching movies in the evening. The hot tub is very nice and the kids also enjoyed playing in it. The only wild animal we saw while there was a raccoon. It is a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg, so if you are planning to spend most of your time there, I would recommend staying in Gatlinburg and avoiding all of the traffic driving through Pigeon Forge. We took our family to Dollywood and it took us about 25 min to get there. The home is located up a steep drive out of town in a subdivision. It is nice and quiet. It has a great wrap-around porch with 4 log rocking chairs which were nice to sit in in the evenings. We did not use the pool as you have to drive to get to it. We could see it down the hill looking off of the deck, it is just not walkable to get to it. The decor of the home is very nice with a bear theme. We did not spend much time in the game room as we were busy driving to see sights every day and our grandkids were a little too young to play them. We really enjoyed this home. The only recommendation I would make to the owners is to have a table and chairs on the deck in order to eat some meals outside.
