Perfect space for a getaway with family! We loved the seclusion from the busy downtown areas but still close enough to all attractions and the National Park!
This is the perfect house for a family getaway. Close to all the pigeon forge and gaitlinburg fun, and just a great little oasis for a family to hang out in. We will definitely come back!
The stay was great! It allowed for us to bring our pet with us on vacation. The location was quiet with a beautiful view yet close to all the action just 2 miles away!
We stayed here on spring break and it was the best. Great location, hot tub was a hit. Kitchen has many cooking items. Game room was a hit for the kids.
We found that the cabin was very clean, spacious and conveniently located area for group. My daughter and her family, including my three grandkids ages 8 thru 11, had a short drive to tourist destinations in Pigeon Forge. My wife and I also had a short drive to the Smoky Mountain Park to enjoy our hikes. Overall a great place to stay.
Overall had a great time , the host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed due to a winter storm that came through. We actually stayed two extra nights because of it and was very taken care of. Would recommend this cabin to any family, ours loved it!
Really nice place. There is construction going on in the community but you dont notice the noise inside the cabin much if you happen to be there during the day. We had a couple issues during the week and emailed them and they took care of it or helped us with it right away and were always very responsive with their emails. Just overall super easy to deal with and a beautiful place. Would definitely stay there again.
We had checked into a completely different cabin with a different management company on Friday and I immediately contacted management to State we were not happy and we would be checking out on Saturday. Firefly Lodge was available we were able to get booked right in very simple process. Location was awesome the home was awesome we will definitely be back again.
"Make it Count" Gymnastics Competition Getaway Weekend
We needed to be in Gatlinburg for my granddaughters' gymnastics competition. We chose the Firefly Lodge for our stay, and we were so happy we did. The process was super easy from scheduling to departure. The cabin was perfect. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was private enough but also very close to all of the action. I had a question about the hot tub, I emailed support, and I had an answer within the hour. We definitely will be staying here again.
Accurately listed. Cabin was very clean and wonderful. We had a small plumbing problem on Sunday. I called and left a voice mail to the owner completely expecting a call back on Monday. I got a call back in 5 minutes, and the owner stayed in contact with me until a plumber could fix the issue. Wonderful service! Will be staying here again!
This cabin is very well-maintained and kept spotless with plenty of fresh, clean towels (including towels for the hot tub) and bed linens with extra blankets. The home was comfortable and just right for our family with kids aged 16, 14, and 11 and our dog. It felt remote and private the way it's nestled into a steep hillside. The driveway is very steep and has a nice turnaround to go back down forward (slowly). We could hear neighbors smoking and coughing when we we sat outside, but we couldn't see or smell them. Best part about the location is that it's very close to Pigeon Forge which we loved. One afternoon when my wife came back from getting lunch, there was a juvenile copperhead snake at the entryway to the porch. This should be expected in this setting so just watch your step. Uber was showing the house in range for pickups (with somewhat long wait times), but we didn't try it since parking was mostly reasonable at the attractions we visited. I know it must be hard to turnover rentals on busy days, but the 10am checkout time was a bit rough for us. At the time we would have preferred a more standard 11am checkout time; however, it turned out being great to have more of the day left to hit a few last stops on our way out of town. My family highly recommends this home away from home in the mountains. Smoky Jones Vacation Rentals has earned our loyalty; we hope to stay here again if the property or another one of their properties is available for our next trip to the area.
We thoroughly loved our stay in Firefly Lodge.
It’s close enough to attractions without being in the hustle and bustle of everything. Our furry family enjoyed the stay too. We brought a dog crate and set it up in the game room. Our entire cabin experience was a positive one. We heard some scratching noises but I think it might have been the rocking chairs against the exterior wall. The driveway was a bit of a task, in a mini van. My parents in their bronco didn’t have a single problem. It’s very steep and hard to maneuver in the rain, again, in a mini van. SUVs would likely have no issues. There are plenty of towels and cooking tools. We cooked each night, even utilizing the grill. The area was SUPER quiet other than the building crews still working on more cabins. You can’t hear any outdoor noises from inside though so it’s only when you are relaxing outside that you hear them working and blaring music. Not really a deal breaker for us. There are plenty of places indoors to relax and there are tons of games stocked in the living room table, as well as the actual pool table and game console. We loved the area and this specific cabin.
The only note I would add is if you are disabled or have difficulty with balance, this cabin has very steep driveways. The backyard is small and all of the “yard” is somewhat steep as well. Our dogs didn’t mind, but if you have mobility issues, this is something to think about. A well stocked clean and gorgeous cabin. Beds were comfy too.
We really enjoyed the cabin. Great location, close to everything, while maintaining that mountain cabin privacy! We even got to se a mama bear and two cubs one morning!
The cabin was amazing. It was nice to soak in the hot tub. After going to the attractions during the day, we would definitely come back to enjoy this cabin again.
This property was just right for us close to everything Was not way up in the mountains which was good because it snowed We all loved the hot tube. Cabin was very clean
