• BYO firewood, charcoal, and matches.
• Sneaking a cat in or an unauthorized dog or other pet will result in a $200 fee.
• This cabin has a shared driveway with another cabin.
• This is a brand new cabin and area and as such, no WiFi is offered because no internet services are available in the area. Cell service is great though.
• It's not uncommon to encounter wildlife in the mountains. There have been visits from deer, bear, and turkeys.
• Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Please respect this or you'll be asked to vacate.
• We do not offer refunds for weather related incidents. Please purchase travel insurance.
• The entrance road is steep and curvy, but paved - like most mountain roads in the area - our little Honda handles it like a champ! Drive it once and you'll realize it's a breeze. You will drive about 1/8 of a mile on a gravel road. 4x4 is recommended in snowy weather.
• Because this is the mountains, there will be bugs and other creatures. The cabin is treated monthly by a local, professional pest control company but please note- it's not possible to make the space entirely pest free all the time.

This was a beautiful home and wonderful place to stay. The property is about 10 mins from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and great if you want a quiet stay.
We had a great time staying at this cabin. Very quiet and quaint. We had a small issue and the host immediately rectified the issue. Would definitely stay here again.
We had such a great time! The location was fantastic. Secluded but a short drive to everything. Our kids absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pit for nightly campfires!
This place is great and it worked out perfect for our little quick get away. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Just a short drive to anywhere you may want to be.
Perfect location with easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Cabin is newer and spacious, as described. We had everything we needed for comfort. Beds are so comfortable and the hot tub was a plus!
Everything was great. View was amazing. Cozy cabin for our family of 4 with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if only we can stay longer.
This home is beautiful and situated what seems like a world away from the busy strip in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. It yet was only a short drive away. Our family had a wonderful stay and would totally recommend this property to anyone.
This house was still like brand new. The host was very quick to respond when we called and messaged her. This home was perfect for our family. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who would consider staying!
Cabin was great. Perfect location with a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Plenty of room with beautiful views. Listing was accurate - house was clean and included all the essentials. Only complaint would be the pots and pans - not the best.
This place was the first place I’ve ever stayed at that was clean. Beautiful cabin, clean, great communication with owners!! Only thing was the steep drive..kind of scary but got use to it. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave any! Highly recommend!!! You won’t regret!!!
Family of six (kids are 11, 10, 6, & 4); we stayed for four nights while we explored the Smokies, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Great location away from all the tourist traps and noise. The house is very new and clean. Great deck for breakfast in the mornings and a beverage or two in the evenings. Having three bathrooms was great! Everyone slept well. Would definitely recommend this place for any family and would also consider returning if we ever find ourselves in the area again!
Family came up for Jeep invasion. Perfect for our family. A lot of cabins use amazing photography to make the place look bigger. This was not one of those places. Spacious inside and out. Wrap around deck with beautiful views and great clean hot tub. The whole cabin was spotless. And had everything we needed for our stay.
We had a great stay at this property. Beautiful home!! The owners checked on us multiple times (very attentive) and everything was just as the listing showed. We loved the space, bedrooms were great (comfy beds) and awesome view from the wraparound deck. Everything was clean and getting in was easy. We used the binder they provided to find a local hike/waterfall that made for a great part of one of our days. Secluded, quiet, but close enough to everything. Great memories…We hope to be back in the future!
We absolutely LOVED our stay here! This cabin was perfect and spacious. It had very comfortable beds and living room seating, and everything was clean! I’m also always cautious about cleanliness ratings actually being accurate, but this cabin was very clean and it had absolutely anything you’d need. I appreciated that it wasn’t overly decorated with things everywhere, as too much can feel cluttered and dusty. The minimal - but beautiful - decor was the perfect touch. Contact with the host was excellent and she provided very detailed information for check in and other helpful information. If you’re not used to staying up in the mountains, the drive can be a little scary at first, but it’s normal and you get used to it after the first time, I promise! We would definitely stay here again! We even named the moose - Merle!
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. It was conveniently located to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Only one part of the road going up was steep, it really wasn't that bad compared to some mountain roads. Sitting outside on the wrap around deck was nice and it was so quiet. The only thing that was a downfall was the shower's water pressure but that wasn't something that would keep us from staying there again. The host was in communication the whole time because of a hot tub issue, but it was an easy fix and we were able to use it every night we were there. I would recommend this cabin for sure! We had a great family vacation!
My wife and I had a great week staying at Nauvoo Haus. The road up to the cabin from the main road was no problem for our crossover - even with rain and wet leaves dotting the road. I found that Waze and Google Maps gave exact directions to the correct cabin, but YMMV. The location was perfect. We were tucked away from the chaos of town, but we could get anywhere necessary pretty quickly: 15min from Pigeon Forge, 30min from the national park, and 40m from Ober Mountain. The cabin was charming and pristine. We could still smell the fresh cut lumber . It was just like new! The king bed upstairs was comfortable and warm when the temperature outside dropped to the 40s. Ceiling fans were a plus. The showers were hot, and had ample towels. We were able to easily cook several scratch meals in the fully stocked kitchen. There was even a slow cooker! The living room was comfortable and more than accommodating for the two of us. We especially loved spending our evenings with the "lantern" table lamps dimmed to their lantern mode while we watched Halloween movies on TV. The covered deck offered perfect cover to sit back in the rocking chairs on the rainy days. The fire pit area looked welcoming, but with several days of rain we didn't try it or the grill. Finally, our host was welcoming and always quick to respond. I don't easily give out 5-stars, but I highly recommend checking this place out on your next visit to the area.P.S. -- Of course, we nicknamed the moose
