"This was a terrific home, very well equipped, and with a nice little swimming pool and back garden. Very well located close to the long strip of beaches running 15 km up the coast.The house is very comfortable and felt personal and well maintained. A fully equipped Kitchen, original Art and objects customized the place with a great deal of personality. We were very happy with this little Home.!"

"The house is nearby shops, restaurants and a 5 minuten drive away to the beach. The beach and sea is quite nice, but there is a lot of trash on the streets and beach. There were several things in the house which needed assistance. The oven door could not be closed, water in the shower was spraying everywhere. "The Hidden Gem flat in Alfama was perfect for us. Small, but not cramped, bright and airy, and exceptionally clean. The bonus was a washing machine. It was walkable to most areas and surrounded by lovely restaurants and Fado clubs. We had a few communication glitches, but all was resolved by check-in time. I would definitely recommend the Hidden Gem in Alfama to family and friends."

"Great location in easy walking distance to the water, castle, the market and grocery stores. There’s a full bed upstairs and another on the main floor. Parking was difficult at times but we always found a spot within a block or two. Would stay here again."
