"We love historical hotels so chose to stay at The Read House. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time to old world grandeur. Absolutely magical. the dining was exceptional (we chose to eat there every night!), and the bartender, Alan, was really engaging and mixed great drinks! His Peanut Butter Alan was amazing!! Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. We look forward to returning to The Read House very soon. "

"This was such a cute 60’s style hotel/ motel. It’s updated, clean, there’s always staff around to help with anything. Pool, outdoor seating, and restaurant/ bar area was so cute! I’d definitely stay there again rather than the big hotel chains. Highly recommend!"

"Convenience is key. Unfortunately the hotel has not been renovated recently, so room furniture was older. Our tv console had a broken handle, only one of the outlets on the wall lamp between the beds was working, & the bathroom fan was broken. Other than that everything was very clean, & the air conditioning worked, which is so comforting."
