Staff are very helpful. Room cleaning was great. Checkin was easy and it was great of them to hold our luggage’s before the checkin time. Family and I spent the morning exploring around the area.

Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful! There is a coin laundry and microwave on the second floor that is super convenient. Each level has a refillable hot and cold water taps which is great for late night instant noodles which you can buy at Emart (right across the hotel). The hotel is perfect walking distant to the well-known gwangjang market where you can experience delicious Korean street food and buy some interesting souvenirs! The hotel was close to a train station, easily taking us to places smoothly. Definitely recommend this Branch and would come back to this hotel when the chance to visit Seoul comes again!

This property is conveniently located to pick up and drop off locations of the airport limo bus 6001. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The hotel breakfast is a must. A good source of energy for the day. Laundry facilities also available. This property would definitely be on the list to stay at next time.

Visiting back to the country as a Second Korean War DMZ Veteran 1966-67. Overall the property was more than adequate but could be cleaner. My real complaint is that the staff at the front desk who were not very friendly and very abrupt and condescending to any questions or inquiries. Thinking the current generation of Koreans have less respect for elders.

Staff are not friendly and helpful. No smile, not treating you as a customer. I Rooms are clean but quite small compare to other hotels I stayed in Seoul. Near the subway, but far from the main lines(2&4) Wouldn’t come back next time

The hotel closed to subway 5mn walking distance but the breakfast not many choice have to eat noodle cup everyday hope can improve.

Worth Staying
Location is near to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station exit 6 (No escalator & lift to ground floor). Walking distance to Dongdaemun market. Has cafes and convenience mart nearby. Need to make reservation 1 day in advance for the free shuttle bus. Shuttle bus can bring us to Seoul Station and other Skypark hotels. Is very convenient for us as we can take shuttle bus to Seoul Station and no need to carry the luggages down the flight of stairs. Has washing machine and dryer. Has printer at ground floor for public usage. The printer was not working well and the staff was kind to suggest printing for us. Room is spacious enough for 2 people. Clean & neat. Service level is good.

The hotel is good location.
I am happy with the customer service in counter who arranged the room to meet my request. I would like to complains to the staff in hotel .com online who make booking the hotel for me. He didn't provide my room request in booking to the hotel, also his recommend breakfast included service is not worth. so upset with my wife.

The location is good, only 10 minutes walk to subway station and 5 minutes walk to airport bus #6001. It is quiet, clean. Easy to find it when you look up the building when you first got there.

Convenient location, room is very clean
Location is very convenient, just 5 min walk from exit 6 of Dongdaeman History and Culture subway station if you use subway line 5. However if you are using line 2 or 4, distance may be longer. Room is very clean and towels are clean. No complaints on cleanliness. However hotel staff are not very friendly or warm. So if all you need is a clean and convenient hotel stay without much help from hotel staff, then I recommend this hotel.

Probably one the best!
I don't go travelling very often, but this has to be one of the best I've stayed at. The service and the location was great. The staff were all willing to help when we asked them about the area and getting to one place or the other. For a young (now) travelling person like me, it was a safe and great hotel. I really did think that it was my home in South Korea. Room was very clean, and the cleaning service was well done despite how messy we can be. The train station is very near, despite the walk from Exit 6 to Line 2 & 4 but it was all worth it in the end. Shuttle bus is always on time, and there is a few 'home-y' food stalls around, as well as cafes. The walls are quite thin, but they are not that bad. We didn't complain, and others didn't complain about us. Win-win situation I guess. The laundry and business room was very useful to us, since we needed to check important emails via desktop and have nice clean clothes for most of the trip. I did have some problems with the laundry but the staff were always happy to help and gave me a refund when the machine ate my money. For my next trip to South Korea, I am definitely booking again at Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun 1! Thank-you so much for this memorable stay and I hope to be back soon. :)

Everything was great!
As the title says, everything was great....except maybe for the strange sound outside our room which disappeared after a few nights. It was most likely an isolated incident so we did not bother to report. Other than that, this is definitely a great hotel to stay in.

I stayed there 5 nights and was very cold weather, and front doors are very heavy to push and pull. Would suggest hotel to change the doors to auto type. Cause when we arrived with our baggages, we still have to open the heavy doors by ourselves and it was very hard and hotel staffs just stood there and watched us struggling with 4 big luggages and handbags. Very disappointing service at first arrived.

TV set aside, i have requested if the front desk people could arrange another room for me, however, the remark is ignored even i have reminded when i check in at the front desk. Nice hotel close to shops and markets.
I had a pleasant experience at the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and functional. However, there was difficulty communicating with staff at the reception desk in English. Also the breakfast buffet was deficient on continental breakfast items such as oatmeal, wheat bread, etc.
