We spent a delightful six nights at the Shop House. The hotel was perfect, close to local restaurants and the ferry to Valetta. Mr and Mrs Snop were lovely, very helpful and welcoming. Sean was lovely, helpful and they were all a font of knowledge about Malta. I would thoroughly recommend staying there!!

A great place to stay
Excellent hosts: friendly, professional, helpful, very quick to fix any issues with the room. Great sized room, with impressive decor and furnishings. Fantastic continental breakfasts (no cooked food apart from boiled eggs), freshly prepared to order. Plenty of good quayside restaurants available, a few minutes' walk down the hill (there are lots of steps, but these can be avoided if you take a longer route down). The ferry to Valletta is approx 10 minutes' walk away, with departures roughly every half hour. There is lots of street parking available, free of charge. We couldn't fault this hotel, and would highly recommend.

Outstanding hotel
Very nice and helpful staff. Room was very clean, tidy and equipped with all amenities. The hotel is well connected, close to the bus and ferry. Very tasty breakfasts with local products.

Really lovely boutique hotel in the main square. Super staff and very tasteful artwork throughout the building. The roof terrace has an honesty bar and is great in the evening. We really wished that we had stayed longer.

Incredibly friendly staff with excellent recommendations for the area - they gave us a truly welcoming stay and couldn’t do enough for us. The roof terrace gives an amazing view of the Three Cities and Valetta. The room was super clean and the property is conveniently located with excellent transport links. Breakfast was a dream!! The Snop house js a beautiful place to stay. The staff are warm, welcoming and always abailablw. The roof top terrace has a great view over the roof tops to beautiful Valetta and Vittoriosa.

Manuel gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived, a glass of cold water in the heat was just what we needed. He showed us the room, where we could get fresh filtered water from, the rooftop terrace and honesty bar. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Snop House. Manuel booked taxis for us and helped out with recommendations too. We couldn’t have asked for anymore from our stay and we’re already talking about going back!

An amazing place to stay
An amazing place to stay, full of artwork pieces by the owner and other local artists. All the staff were wonderful especially Manuel who was so full of joy and a tremendous asset to this hotel. The Snop House is situated in an up and coming area in Senglea which is full of history. It is so easy to get around, I did not use my hire car that week. You feel part of the community staying here, rather than just another tourist in a large international hotel. Truly wonderful.

Perfect!
I cannot believe how fortunate we were to come across this diamond! The property is of the highest standard,spotless,tasteful,the best staff. Rowena and Grace are so pleasant and let us feel completely looked after and spoiled. Manuel was a plethora of information and I looked forward to him each morning at breakfast. His apple pie is too yummy for words and his hospitality amazing! Brilliant smile and utterly fabulous!David is a lovely young man very engaging and Martes so welcoming. It felt like a true family. The location was great, our “go to” place in future. We fell in love with Malta, largely due to them and The Snop House. Mr. Plique has gotten it so very right! Thank You for making our stay THE one to remember!

A beautifully presented property with lovely rooms, well equipped and very comfortable. Access to roof terrace and kitchen area for drinks etc a bonus. Well situated in Senglea with easy access to lots of facilities, ferry to Valletta and local buses. Good local restaurants. Excellent management who were very friendly and helpful.

Impressive new hotel in great area
This is a special place and the room and atmosphere were lovely. Lots of great touches; it is obvious the owners put a lot of care and thought into the renovation and decor of this small hotel in a peaceful location in Senglea. Rooms are beautiful and soooo comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and really good as well. Lovely staff, no exceptions. Good restaurants along the waterfront within a few minutes walk. Great access to Valletta by a direct local bus and a bus stop very handy, just a couple of steps from our door. Would recommend this place; it’s a gem that recently opened (summer 2018).

The Redentur bus station is quite front door, and may we underline that the Cospicua ferry and the taxi boat( on traditional luzzu) piers accessible by less 10 minutes walk allow you to access south of Valletta . Nous n'avons pas pu nous rendre dans cet établissement pour cause de pandémie. Dés notre demande d'annulation de la réservation, le propriétaire ne nous a proposé qu'un voucher pour réserver à une autre date avant 1 an. Nous aurions préféré avoir le choix et pouvoir annuler si tel était notre souhait. Cette pratique ne nous semble pas très commerciale au vu des tristes circonstances actuelles.

Le contexte du Covid-19 a impacté brutalement et sans distinction toutes les personnes dans leur projet de voyages ou de vacances, mais aussi, et très sévèrement, l’économie des établissements hôteliers. Nul ne pourra discuter du caractère exceptionnel de cette pandémie qui a néanmoins suscité de grands élans de solidarité. Dans ce cadre, notre équipe a été fortement mobilisée pour faire face à toutes les situations dans lesquelles nos clients sur place, ou attendus, ont été confrontés. Ainsi, de façon solidaire, nous avons prolongé à prix coûtant, tous les séjours des clients présents dans notre établissement ne pouvant pas rentrer dans leur pays à la date prévue, faute d’avions. Pour tous les clients que nous attendions, qui n’avaient pas contracté d’assurance annulation ou qui avaient réservé en mode non remboursable, n ous avons, pour notre part, proposé à chacun d’eux, de façon très solidaire, de bénéficier d’un voucher à valoir sur une période de 1 an. Alors que l’ensemble de notre clientèle a unanimement salué et apprécié cette offre au caractère exceptionnel, en remerciant notre service front (dont je salue ici le dévouement) d’avoir pris contact avec chacun de nos clients (dont vous faites partie), et proposé avec générosité cette belle possibilité de découvrir Malte et notre établissement une fois la crise passée, vous avez préféré (et ce, de façon anonyme comme pour cacher la personnalisation des échanges que nous avons eus avec vous) mettre en doute la qualité commerciale de notre établissement et de notre équipe en ne mesurant pas à sa juste valeur l’offre généreuse du voucher. Nous accusons donc réception de votre commentaire (et de votre note) que nous trouvons injuste, voire déplacée. Pour le plus grand bonheur de toute notre équipe qui a été fortement mobilisée, nous disposons des témoignages d’amitié et des remerciements de tous les autres voyageurs ayant été confrontés à la même situation, ce qui nous rassure sur nos valeurs et la philosophie de notre établissement.

Die Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Die gesamte Einrichtung stilvoll und hochwertig. Sehr bequeme Betten! Lage ist genial, man kommt schnell nach Valletta und Birgu. Kleines Minus: unser Zimmer zur Straße war etwas laut von Außen (Straßenlärm).

Une boutique hôtel à ne pas rater
C'est l'endroit parfait pour visiter La Valette et les 3 cités. Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits et nous avons été totalement comblés. C'est une boutique hôtel qui a beaucoup de charme et qui est décorée avec goût. Parfait pour un séjour romantique. Le personnel est très sympathique, aux petits soins et surtout n'est pas avare en conseils ou informations sur l'histoire de Malte. C'est des passionnés de leur île. Notre chambre était la Cabrighar : spacieuse, lumineuse et avec une vue sur Senglea. L'emplacement de l'hotel est parfait. Senglea est très calme et plein de charme. Plusieurs très bons restaurants au bord de l'eau se trouvent à moins de 2 min à pied. Le ferry pour La valette se trouve à 5 min à pied.

Perfekt ophold!
Vi havde et perfekt ophold og det bl.a. takket være David, Manuel og Olivier, som sørgede for at vi følte os velkomne. Vi blev vartet op til morgenmaden og fik masser af råd om, hvad vi kunne se og hvor vi kunne få nogle fantastiske madoplevelser. Thank you to The Shop House team!

Quando il cliente è al centro della vacanza!
The Snop house è una bomboniera nel cuore delle tre città (senglea). La struttura è nuova ,molto racolta ed estremamente accogliente. Ottimo gusto nell’arredamento. Il nostro appartamento aveva un piccolo balcone interno. Bagno bellissimo e comodo. Camera piccolina ma con ogni confort. C’è una bella terrazza da cui ammirare a360 uno splendido panorama su valletta. La cura al cliente è maniacale e questo grazie al superbo Manuel che dalla prima accoglienza dispensa affetto cordialità e suggerimenti. Estremamente attento a tutte le possibili richeste. Il suo è un valore aggiunto! Colazione ortima e abbondante sia dolce sia salata. Consigliato un mezzo di trasporto personale per spostamenti lunghi. Momto vicino il bus e l’attracco del traghetto che con 10 minuti porta a valletta. Consigliato!

Wspaniały, Najlepszy. The best hotel on the city.
Wspaniały hotel i bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny Właściciel. Wszędzie blisko. Z portu w Isla można przepłynąć łodzią do Valetty za 1,5eur. Bus stop zaraz przy hotelu. Cicho w pokoju. Bardzo ładnie urządzony hotel i pokoje (z klimatyzacją). Śniadanie rewelacja, pyszne. Polecam ze wszech miar. THE BEST HOTEL IN THE CITY.
