Great staff. Even though there was a language barrier, the host did not hesitate to get me settled in, teach me how to put on a yukata and give me sightseeing tips. Bathroom is not air conditioned and can get a bit stuffy. Breakfast is good, not mindblowing but given the overall price, I cannot complain. I would definitely stay here again.

Traditional Japanese-style Inn
This was a very small traditional Japanese style hotel/guesthouse which was very quaint and cute. It had tatami floors, futons on the floor, and yukatas provided. The bathroom and bath was shared. It is very small. I liked this place because it really felt Japanese, however it is probably not for everyone. It was a little far from Sendai station, and I prefer to have my own private bathroom. The family that own it are lovely, and it is nice to still this type of place existing to stay in.

お部屋の案内をしてくださったスタッフさんがとても丁寧で気持ちがよかった。 終わってみて朝食もつければと後悔、ぜひまた利用したいです。

Perfect place to stay
Beautiful place and super friendly staff. The rooms are really clean and well decorated. The bath was so great that I didn't want to leave. This place made my trip to Sendai really enjoyable. Also, check out their traditional breakfast. It's relatively cheap and genuinely delicious. Overall, highly recommended and I will definitely visit again when I return to Sendai.
