Lots of great places to eat nearby. The hotel is old style Bali and the room was spacious and reasonably clean. I found the bed comfy (2 singles). I was in a standard room on the first floor and had a little balcony which faced East. Wifi was sufficient for my needs. 2 pools to choose from and reasonably quiet during my stay. When we arrived and checked in, the staff was pleasant and helpful to get us into our room. Once we got in, we realized it was less than desirable on the budget side (looks like its 2 separate hotels, the older one is likely used for cheaper bookings?), the bed was very springy and seemed to be 2 twins pushed together. We asked to upgrade to a nicer room, there was some confusion and we ended up sleeping 1 night in the dodgy side. In the morning, they informed us that they could upgrade us for the next night. Much nicer on the Sari Bunga side... We were pretty happy with the free breakfast also. Das Frühstück war einfach aber für uns auch ausreichend. Das Zimmer und die Betten waren gut, es war sauber u. wir hatten auch einen Balkon mit Wäscheständer. Wichtig war auch, daß die Dusche gut funktionierte (mit Wasserdruck) was in manchen Hotels nicht der Fall war. Baulärm (wie in manch anderen Hotels) gab es auch nicht.Kurzer Weg zum Strand. In unmittelbarere Nähe Restaurants u.shops. Fernseher mit Deutscher Welle. Internet (free Wifi) ging sowohl im Zimmer (langsam) als auch am Schwimmingpool u. im Restaurant. But the room was clean although many of its light bulbs don't work. I had to ask for help several times as I had difficulty turning on power inside the room. The hotel can't even afford to buy a replacement card for the room's power slot. Its staff have folded a cardboard that they inserted inside the slot to turn the power inside the room on. As there is no elevator, I would advise guests with large luggage to ask to be assigned to lower floors. The breakfast offering is uninspired and unvaried and, after your second day, you won't want to touch it again. Overall, this is a good hotel if what you're looking for is just a place to sleep at after a busy day doing Bali's sights.
