"We enjoyed our stay. Even though they had two large groups of people staying it was quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent and our rooms were very clean and spacious."

"A very comfortable, functional, convenient and modern place to stay in the hills and vineyards near Bolzano. Friendly staff and a very tasty breakfast. A great place to overnight or stay a few extra days."

"One of the best hotels, we have visited. Everything was so great, the clean, spacious, well-equipped room with a/c, the garden and pool area, the parking basement, the amazing breakfast and coffee, the local wines, everything. And the view and location in general was so beautyful. We really want to come back some day."

"Our room was on the small side, but with a nice balcony that allowed us to seat outside and enjoy the view. Breakfast was all great, except probably the scrambled eggs. But there were enough fruits, cold cuts, breads and cheeses to make it up for that."

"Väldigt bra hotell, med god frukost och bra läge i ett underbart landskap. Vi var där två dagar och utnyttjade poolen och åt båda middagarna på restaurangen som vi var väldigt nöjda med."

Very good surrounds. No one around, so had the entire pool to ourselves. Breakfast top notch as compared to all the other hotels in Northern Italy we went to during our 1 week visit.

I don’t think the pictures here do the hotel justice. We spent nights on the balcony enjoying the view over the vines and valley. Staff are friendly and present. Pool is good size and more sunbeds available to use on terrace. The sunbeds could do with updating (quite uncomfortable). The small kitchen unit in the room was handy if you choose to self cater. I would have loved more luxurious towels and pool towels too. Minor criticisms though for a super hotel.

The management had changed hands only one week before the arrival of our group of 38 people. Dinner was expected as had been booked but the new manager was not aware. A lovely local lady was employed to be a translator as the group were all English and did not speak good Italian.
A menu was provided by the hotel and the group were all fed. The hotel exchanged breakfast for the evening meal at their expense which was a welcome offer by the group.

Friendly, helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite (thank you) which was clean and had all the amenities you could wish for. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and an evening meal which was delicious. There is a large selection at breakfast including a hot buffet. The hotel itself is a 2 minute walk from Bolzano Sud train station and it is easy to get into Bolzano by train, one stop, or alternatively a bus.

The best area to stay in Seestrasse is directly along the lakefront, particularly around the main promenade and the historic centre.
This area is the heart of Seestrasse, offering direct access to Lake Garda's shores. The promenade, lined with cafes and gelaterias, stretches for several kilometres, great for leisurely strolls. The historic centre, just a short walk inland from the promenade, features narrow cobbled streets, traditional shops, and the local parish church.
Couples will find this lakefront area ideal for a romantic break. Many hotels offer rooms with lake views, and there are numerous restaurants serving local Trentino cuisine right on the water's edge. The proximity to boat tours departing from the small harbour adds to the appeal for exploring other lakeside towns.
For families, staying near the main public beach areas, slightly to the north or south of the historic centre but still along the lake, is a great option.
When is the best time to go to Seestrasse?
The best time to go to Seestrasse is during the summer months, from June to August, for warm weather and outdoor activities, or in late spring (May) and early autumn (September) for a quieter experience with pleasant temperatures.
For those looking to enjoy the lake to its fullest, July and August offer the warmest water for swimming and the most reliable sunshine for sunbathing and watersports. This is also when the area is at its most active, with many events and open-air concerts taking place, particularly along the promenade that stretches from the town centre towards the Lido. Families often find these months ideal for making the most of the lake's amenities and the numerous family-friendly activities available.
Couples or travellers seeking a more tranquil visit with comfortable weather for hiking and cycling will appreciate May and September. The temperatures are mild, making outdoor exploration very pleasant without the peak summer crowds. The scenic trails around the lake, such as the path leading to the panoramic viewpoint above the town, are particularly enjoyable during these months.
