"Young woman working the front desk was very pleasant and sweet. She went to get us dishes for our small meal we had delivered as well as some decaf coffee that had not been stocked in our room. She was very nice about it and service oriented. The room was comfortable. Really enjoyed the deep bath tub after a few days of sightseeing and hiking."

"We had a great experience staying at the Empress! The location is unrivalled and gives great access to Victoria. We were blessed with an amazing sunset and had the privilege of sitting in the window of the bar sipping cocktails watching it. Great place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"Trinita is a lovely host and was really helpful when needed. The suite has a fabulous view of the bay and the temperature was perfect for sitting out on the deck. It was quite hot when we came from Victoria but when we arrived after a 45 minute drive, it was much cooler and the air refreshing. If you’re looking for a quiet, restful holiday - this place is an excellent choice."

"This is a very nice property. My only issue is that the staff seems to avoid the guests and are not generally available for help for things like when the coffee cups run out. We never met the hosts, which is unusual for a farm stay setting. You check in and get a key code via text or email. There are signs encouraging guests to walk around the premises and see the animals. But no map is provided indicating where the property borders are. Overall, a pleasant stay, but strange."

"Wonderfully private property, with just three cottages. 180-degree panorama of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympics. Flowers in your garden and on the paths. Wooden platforms atop the cliffs, inviting sketchers and photographers and anyone who loves beauty. A long pebble beach, reached by a wooden staircase. And a host who, apparently, has thought of "everything."Plus, every Canadian we met was welcoming and kind, despite our country of origin. Especially Ray: you will enjoy meeting Ray."
