One can survive without all this, but this suppose to be a luxury boutique hotel. Motel 6 is a Ritz in comparison. Close to everything and the staff were very helpful calling cabs, giving directions or helping you use the trolley or bus system. The rooms are just standard hotel rooms, nothing special or different. However the ice machines did not work on multiple floors, for whatever reason the rooms on our floor were never cleaned until we asked about it on day #4\. The air conditioning would randomly go out then come back on so you were either freezing or burning up. When this was mentioned they literally ignored it. I booked a room including the "resort $25 per day option for the perks" when I get there I get 3/4 of the perks and when I question it the front desk clerk acted like I owed her something for asking why I was being denied the additional perk. I had to loop in the manager and he just passed the buck saying it was expedia's fault. No sir, it was not - your desk clerks messed up and need to own up to it. I paid the hotel directly. Also this hotel has quite a bit of homeless that sleep in the area so if you are out extra early or late - they are in several of the doorways."
