"A great place to get away from it all. The 100 yr old farmhouse had plenty of space and all things needed to relax and enjoy family. The hosts were incredible as they invited us to participate in feeding and milking the goats and egg fetching. The fire every evening was the cherry on top trying to catch lightning bugs."

"We were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better. It had everything you needed from the kitchen to all the toys. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking to have a nice get away in the country."

"The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you"
