Easy check in, helpful when needing assistance, easy check out. The room itself was pretty good condition, some minimal issues like marks on the wall and my daughter noticed a stain on the comforter cover. Housekeeping did well with our room turnover on our second day. So no complaints there. But that’s about the end of the positive notes. I am not certain how old this building is but it looks OLD, for such an up and coming surrounding area. One of two elevators was out of service, and the second almost made me second guess using it. In Fact when I tried to on our first day, it didn’t work. So I took the stairs and was HORRIFIED at the condition of the pool area, there is mold EVERYWHERE and I smelled it before I saw it. The stairway itself was filthy as well. I am truly concerned for staff and guest safety on that floor. The water pressure in the bathroom was barely existent. More like a drip than a shower. The water from the sink smelled very pungent. Two of us stayed for 3 days and were given 2 towels one hand towel and one washcloth. Very odd. The AC unit sounds like a freight train, was hard to sleep or stay asleep with the air running. Overall I was not thrilled with the stay. I’ve paid half the cost at a much better kept Hilton.
