"The cabin was very well equipped. We were very relaxed and cozy staying here. The fireplace was helpful in staying warm. The kitchen is well set up. There were many good books to select a good read from. Lighting, fireplace, hottub and all other features were set up with very helpful information. I highly recommend this property."

"We loved the peacefulness of the river being right there. I loved that downtown was so close. But it felt like being faraway. Only problem with our age was all the stairs. Our one pet had to be carried up. Which was hard to do. Other then that awesome stay. Loved it"

"My husband and I (and our dog) stayed here for our anniversary weekend. It was very clean when we arrived and smelled like pine. Super cozy! As other reviews mentioned the doors are a hard to close but it’s doable! Not a problem at all. And as far as the “close to the road” it’s not a problem at all. "Really had a wonderful time staying 2 nites, and visited the lake many times, spent the majority of our time down there. Took the canoe out each day, wonderful quiet and private lake, and never saw anyone else on it. ATV trails close by, but did not disrupt or trip. The cabin had a lot of really sweet touches, making it a step up (and more comfortable) that basic camping. Would love to visit again in another season!!"
