Good location, and decent amenities like free kayaks and canoes for the lake directly across the street. Bedrooms are very tiny, and we had to ask for stuff like paper towels or face towels in the bathroom, and also toilet paper. But I think it's just a couple of new owners and they're still getting used to being in charge of a property like this

Cottage was newly renovated and had everything you need . Beautiful get away to unwind . Loads of activities like Kaya or peddle boat and beach ball area. Will definitely visit again.

We were a family group of 10 and this 'cottage' had 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Large dining area and a large sitting area. Kitchen was very good and pretty well equipped. Lots of kitchen storage and counter space for sure. There was a specific hot tub and a sauna for our unit plus a games room at the facility. All were good....other than the hot tub created suds/foam bubbles (lots of soapy bubbles) for some reason. Manager was not sure what was happening. Manager and his brother (assistant) were both very friendly and accommodating. Would return to Lakewoods for sure.

Lovely cottage with Lakeview in front . We enjoyed the stay with family . Its have all the amenities like water sport, sauna, play room which is required to enjoy and feel the nature . Also place is nearby to the Algonquin Provincial park. Fall view is breathtaking . Want to visit this place again.

The room was serviceable and reasonably clean. To me it seemed expensive for what it was, but maybe that's the market for the area. The host was a little difficult to track down upon arrival as there is no clear office, but it worked out fine so I don't have any complaints,

The location was great as we were travelling to Algonquin park. The cabin was fine, looks like it was recently updated. Seemed fairly clean, except the fan in the bathroom was laden with dust. The couch was very uncomfortable and the beds were adequate. We were looking forward to using the hot tub but it was not in working order. They had lots of watercraft that was included and a barbecue. The sauna I think was working but not on when I went to use it. The owners were friendly and helpful.
